List for those who are interested:
10) The Fourth Powerpuff Girl 9) The Emoji Movie 8) Cartoon Network's 25th Anniversary Tribute (and the relative lack of fanfare in general) 7) Disney sticking a 21 minute Frozen short in front of Coco. 6) The cancellation of Disney's Gigantic movie. 5) Szechuan Sauce Stupidity 4) klance14 attempting to Blackmail the Voltron team into making Keith and Lance a canon pairing. 3) The various voice actors who passed away this year. 2) The various sexual harassment scandals in the animation industry. Specifically John Lasseter only getting a slap on the wrist. 1) The real life shooting incident tied to Danny Phantom.
I have to say though, can't fully get behind his point at #5 since he kind of downplays the stupidity of of how some of those fans were acting like.

Can you post the actual list? Edit: Thanks, Crimson.

re: #7....and guess what? Next week said Frozen short is going to be on ABC.
On the other hand...if it starts the backlash against Frozenmania finally, I vote for its place on the list to be rescinded.

Not surprised about #8. They were too busy hyping up a daily Teen Titans Go marathon.
And, the fact they kept it so low-key made you forget the network turned 25 this year.

Is the Olaf thing that big of a deal?
The people I know generally liked it.
It was pulled out of theaters because it made the theaters have less times to show the actual movie.

I never liked Olaf to begin with (forever happy characters disturb me), but I think its largely because some people are tired of seeing merchandise from a 7 year old movie shoved in their face, and the first project released with the characters revolves not around the sisters, but the merchandising heavy character. But, that's me.

Man the Lasseter thing still pisses me off. Disney buried the living shit out of that story and he's just gonna come back in 6 months and everything will be forgotten about.

Honestly, Keith and Shiro would make a much better pairing than Lance and Keith, and I generally like Lance.

From what I remember, it just seemed a really misguided idea to have a 20 minute short before the movie and, like you said, expect the movie to be shown afterwards. If it were a Disney Channel special or an ABC special, it’d be a lot more positive considering it seems suited for that and the ad can push it to 30 anyway. Also, this list doesn’t seem like a “worst stories of the year” as much as partially a worst things of the year which...well, they’re kind of two different things.

Which...makes the theatrical version look like a bigger waste. Honestly, this is probably them going "Shit, this isn't working out, we need to get it out of theatres! Quick do we have a slot on ABC? Thursday evening? Great! Get it in there!"
