I feel like Steven Spielberg has been releasing a steady stream of crap since the mid-2000's. Untitled Indiana Jones Project (announced) 2018 Ready Player One (post-production) 2017 The Post (directed by) (completed) The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara (pre-production) 2016 The BFG 2015 Bridge of Spies 2012 Lincoln 2011 War Horse 2011 The Adventures of Tintin 2008 A Timeless Call (Documentary short) 2008 Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 2005 Munich 2005 War of the Worlds Yeah, that's a pretty fair assessment. Only one of those (after Munich) I remember being highly acclaimed was Lincoln, and that's more due to it being the Daniel Day Lewis show than anything. Bridge of Spies was nominated for 6 oscars, and won 1. As well as a ton of other awards. War Horse also got a bunch of Oscar noms, and other awards too.

Maybe I'll have to check them out because if there was any hype to them it flew totally under my radar. Tintin was fun, but forgettable.

I love George Romero and his "Living Dead" films, but I must admit to being really bummed that his last movie/statement on the sub genre he created was Survival of the Dead. Ugh....dude, you should have stopped with Diary. Yeah, that wasn't perfect either, but it was light years better than Survival. If There's Always Vanilla didn't exist,Survival would be Romero's worst film. I love Alan Moore, love pretty much everything he has written. But found League of Extraordinary Gentlemen to be a boring mess of a comic.

Just gonna go ahead and get Metallica and “St Anger” out of the way. So you liked "Lulu"? Lulu and Garage Days Rerevisted are the only post Burton Metallica albums I own and enjoy. But I really really like Lou Reed.

I love Method Man, but I remember thinking "Tical 0: The Prequel" was his worst album.

KISS is my favorite band, and also probably the best example of producing almost equal amounts of absolute pure gold and totally cringeworthy awfulness.

Would have been better if they authenticated it by using subtitles and original language rather than have English actors play Germans but, I can see why he made that choice since subtitles would put people off. Still, really good film. War of the World's I also thought was fun. Stupid, but it's enjoyable.

Spielberg's movies from AI onwards lack the sense of wonder of his earlier works. He's become more cynical with age.

if we are talking about during Jim Henson's lifetime, then the Muppets on Saturday Night Live's first season.
I've liked the majority of Coen Brothers movies but The Ladykillers did nothing for me

Celtic Frost had two examples of this, the album Cold Lake in 1988 where they tried really hard to go glam metal which went so badly one of the members were fired for it and the leader of the band Tom Warrior basically called it the worst thing in music history and then there is the unreleased demo they made in 2002 called Prototype. It's infamous for not sounding anything close to what they made before and after it. Even Cold Lake at least resembled their sound. Here's the most famous track on it. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndrcz3mybPg

They are called The Muppets but... they are nothing close to the Muppets you know and love I don't remember The Land of Gorch being referred to as Muppets. The main reason for this is that Jim Henson didn't want to be typecast as nothing but a childs performer after his work on Sesame Street. The flop of this led to the Muppet Show.
