Look on the bright side, Jaguars- at least you're not the Cowboys.

The 49ers suck at tanking I don't even care. Jimmy G's better than any #1 pick will ever be. At this point the Niners don't NEED to tank, the pick they're gonna get regardless is going to yield one of the top WR's or RB's in the draft, it's all about building around Jimmy now.

Some people on the ESPN and local media were trying to sell us that Jacksonville could be the toughest opponent for the Pats in th playoffs. Well after that game I'm not to worried. Especially if the Pats have Van Noy back on D and Hogan and Burkhead on O. Of course Pats fans aren’t worried. They don’t have to worry about anything

Considering what he did to Jacksonville today, I don't think he is fool's gold. But then again, you hate the Patriots and Jimmy G was a Pat so you hate him.
I don't know what his ceiling is. Whether or not he can be a good, very good or great NFL QB, but I'd be shocked if he wound up being anything but one of those three.

Tomorrow on a special Christmas episode of NFL football Challenge, the Steelers take on the Texans then the Raiders face the wrath of the Eagles on Monday Night Football

If a QB going 4-0 in starts for a team who was previously 1-10 is "Fools Gold" two against Playoff Teams, then The Niners are the happiest Fools on the planet.

Jimmy G ain't Fool's Gold. Dude passes every single eye test. He knows the pocket. He puts the ball where only the reciever can catch it. Watch his mic'd up 2 minute drill. He is a darn good QB.
His best reciever right now is Marquese Goodwin. His O-Line is broken. Again, dudes a stud.

Look on the bright side, Jaguars- at least you're not the Cowboys. Jacksonville won the South for the first time ever & will host a game this century. I don't think they care about the Cowboys & Jason Garrett's ironclad contract.

The NFL has basically become the NWA circa 1988 and the Patriots are Ric Flair. I can't believe that no one has made the correlation that the NFL's ratings and attendance might be down because the same F'N team is constantly on top and doing screwjob crap to win. I've said for a long time that Brady is one of the reasons for the ratings decline. The Spurs have the same problem...they are a boring team that wins boringly. It doesn't help that their biggest stars are huge douchebags.

Seriously, last Superbowl I was wishing for them NOT to do that and just please take some karma for once.

See, for a while I think the NFL managed to get the Pats over as actual heels, at least around the time they went undefeated before the Giants took them down. It's really just been the past 5-6 years where it's just gotten insufferable and even worse when you take Peyton Manning out of the equation via retirement. At least those who despise New England could cheer for the Colts/Broncos during those years.
Take away Peyton and the entire AFC becomes a black hole of suck where the Patriots can just win it every year and there's no one but a broken down, washed up Steelers team to try and stop them (and let's face it, the Steelers have NEVER done well against the Pats with Brady around). The Steelers quite honestly have the look of a team that grinds their way to an overachieving record and then bombs hard in the playoffs.
So that's the AFC. How about the NFC? The best team in it just lost its starting QB, so I tend to think the Eagles aren't really going anywhere. Minnesota has been pretty solid but I'm just not sold on a team with Case Keenum at QB going to the Super Bowl, and if they did get there is anyone seriously expecting them to beat the Patriots? The Rams seem pretty good but have zero home field advantage right now in a half empty Coliseum, so I dunno how far they will really go. Seem about a year ahead of schedule. I guess teams like Carolina and Atlanta have a track record but don't really seem like SB teams. If anything Carolina has been a lucky fraud all year and on paper is basically a marginal 9-7 team. So that leaves the Saints, who don't blow me away but at least I'd probably give Brees some kind of shot in a Super Bowl against Brady. Hey, beating Manning and Brady in Super Bowls would probably make him a zero ballot Hall of Famer, since he's already a 1st ballot now.

As a Cowboys fan for 28 years: Although, any loss also hurts Jerry Jones, whom I despise, so it's not all bad. BURN IT DOWN, POOKIE!

The Spurs, other than the Patriots, have never hooked up with the right opponent for the right matchup other than Miami in 2013. New England, as annoying as they can be, at least has hooked up with good opponents for less than boring SB's. The 2013 NBA Finals have been the only 5 star classic Finals the Spurs have been involved in. None of the Brady/Belichick SB's have been what I'd call clunkers. Philly was the worst, but that's at worst a 3.5/4 star match.
