Hopefully. Either it will get better without him, or the franchise will die from piss poor sales already.

Don't care about the political aspect, but I have never liked the way Papa Johns pizza tastes. f***, I like Little Caesars more. LITTLE. CAESARS.

Papa John's pizza is the worst chain Pizza I've ever had, and I have had the original cardboard Dominos pizza. Papa's garlic bread stuff is decent enough... I guess.

I've met him on a few occasions and he's just a shitty a person as everyone thinks he is. Probably moreso.

I had Papa Johns last year when I was in New York and holy shit it had to be the worst Pizza I've ever had.
Even Little Caesars and the shitty cardboard tasting Pizza that 7-11 sells was better than that.

I've never had Papa John's pizza before, but holy cow does it sound like it sucks. The posts on here echo almost exactly what the article says. Except the article may be meaner.

Eh. You get what you pay for with a papa johns pizza. The ones that were around me (they all closed even though there were always people in them when I went by - so I can't figure that one out) better than most of the other local chain places, like Domino's and Pizza Hut (The pizza hut here is literally the worst pizza I have ever eaten, smelled like it was fouled and tasted like it too!). It has the other advantage over those two in that Papa Johns almost was always running some kind of "If you local sports team won the previous day 50% off menu price deal", which needless to say made it cheaper than Domino's or Pizza Hut (Particularly Pizza Hut). But then, on the other hand the Little Cesears around here is pretty good, and just as cheap as Papa Johns - both have issues with consistency though.
But all the chain pizza places are basically bottom-tier pizza, I don't know how any of them do as much business as they do when their menu price pizzas are nearly as expensive as mom and pop's joints but with like 1/10th the quality. It no surprise though that Papa Johns may be struggling - what with being in the sites of people on both sides of the NFL debacle. They are seen as going hand in hand with the NFL by one crowd and then the owners comments probably enrages them with the other - it's a total no win.

I've met him on a few occasions and he's just a shitty a person as everyone thinks he is. Probably moreso. Yeah, he seems like a giant douche bag. His big mouth and horrible business practices actually caused me to stop supporting his company, which is too bad, as I used to order from Papa John's quite a bit back in the day. It's also too bad that he'll still continue to earn profits from PJ, as it means I will continue to not support that company. F*** that guy.

If only I'd taken the opportunity to say that to his face when I had the chance...
The odd thing is that I had no idea about his politics at the time or how horribly he handled them. My opinion on his personality was pre-existing and not based whatsoever on that aspect. Granted, when I found out I hated him just that much more.

f*** that guy. They’re going to need a complete rebranding, considering the huge hit they’ve taken to their reputation thanks to this jackass.

That's a really good point, I hadn't thought about it yet. They may be completely screwed if they don't rebrand since the asshat named the company after himself.

"Papa WHO'S Pizza?"
The Christmas tie-in to The Grinch writes itself and would help warm feelings toward the company by associating it with a well-known and beloved character.
Edit - ...and on December 21st, 2017, the company's heart grew three sizes!
