Card is always subject to change although it looks like we're getting closer to a Styles/Nakamura showdown at WM (on the middle of the show of course but still).

Hoping this is a sign Styles / Nakamura isn’t happening. I’m guessing this is a temp match though, I doubt they’ve planned that far ahead and that’s pretty blatantly just kind of holding the line from what’s going on right now.

Getting closer to Styles/Nak
I guess it makes sense since AJ doesn’t really have any contenders but if anything this is the best chance to do him and Orton one in one while saving Nak for Mania

Can this finally break the curse of the Fastlane main event being a f***ing drag? The PPV in general is a good portion of what I feel is wrong with the WWE. It might as well be called "Manufactured Filler: The PPV" It's like those episodes in DBZ where in the middle of an epic fight some side character takes a half hour detour to get their hair cut with wacky results.

Wouldn't Styles/Orton be a more high profile match than AJ/Nakamura? I know the smarks are going to bust all over the arena for AJ/Nak, but Orton is a great worker as well and a much bigger name to the casual WWE audience. Might give Styles more rub to beat Orton at Mania and then face Nak at a smaller show where it's not trapped in the middle of a 15 hour card. Styles/Nakamura headlining a SD exclusive show where it can be sold as the main draw might give the match more attention.

Fastlane main event that year was Cole screaming for ten minutes about how Reigns earned it, after the semi-main of him beating Ambrose and Lesnar in a triple threat. Also honestly I wasn't really that big on it. It wasn't bad but didn't think it was anything special.

Fast Lane had Roman pinning Dean in a triple threat with Lesnar to get the Mania contendership spot.

Styles/Nakamura has a dream match appeal to it...and it hasn't happened yet in the 'E, but a match with Orton would be a bigger deal.

Holy shit, I am a huge Brock mark and I could probably name all of his matches since his comeback chronologically due to how rare they are, and this match was such a nothing that I literally forgot it had happened at all.

We're inching closer and closer to Nak/AJ and I've gone into the future to see the match and it's the greatest match in WrestleMania history and quite possibly the best match in WWE history....
Y'all gonna be pissed when Mojo beats AJ for the belt at the PPV after Mania though.

I just don’t see an AJ/Nakamura match at Mania, that’s not really the WWE’s style

Yeah, I'd rather see them get 30 minutes on a B-PPV main event than 15 minutes in the middle of Wrestlemania. I'm also not as hung up on every possible cool thing only happening at Wrestlemania like a lot of people seem to be.

I'm kinda digging Orton and Styles right now and can't see them facing each other, at least not with the heat between Nak/Orton and Zayn/Owens.

I'm noticing it's missing a certain... Maharaja? Because he's winning the Royal Rumble match. Except that he doesn't win since his feet and Reigns feet touch the ground at the same time. There's no way they let anyone go over Reigns, sadly.
