If there is a proverbial brass ring to be grabbed, 2017 seemed like the year that everybody lined up and decided to make a go at it. The result was one of the most stacked talent pools in WWE history, in which each Superstar left their mark (sometimes in more ways than one) on the landscape of WWE. From breakout stars to glass-ceiling smashers to a pair of tag teams that reached stratospheric heights, these are the 10 Superstars who owned 2017.

No it's not a "best superstar" list, just the stars you think of when you think of 2017 whether good or bad.

The list is accurate although I'd probably move Alexa to a lower spot and put Jinder, The Usos/New Day, Miz, Owens and hell everyone else higher than her. Even though she dominated her division it felt like the others received far more talk about them compared to her. Well, maybe not Lesnar.

So their own website is saying that Reigns didn’t have a “defining” year outside of being ranked #8 with The Shield. He had clean pins over Undertaker and Cena and is reportedly set to become the top babyface in the company in about 90 days.

Very strange.

I think this is main roster only and to be fair, Asuka has only been around for 3 months.

When I think of the women in 2017, Alexa's awful super push is the first thing that comes to mind.

Seems they're only factoring main roster, and Asuka's only been there a couple months.

I'd bump Lesnar for Kurt.

I really struggled to remember what Lesnar did this year. Eventually I remembered Wrestlemania.

You might argue that Kurt doesn't belong because it's a list of in ring performers, but surely 2017 will be remembered as the year he made his in ring return under screwy circumstances.

They could have gotten away with including Angle and Shane, but I'm glad they didn't.

As for the proper order, the Top 3 should have been Styles, Jinder and Braun. Hell, everyone on the list was included in my previous thread about WWE Person of the Year (well, except Braun. I forgot to include him).

Coming into 2018 it’s going to be almost two years since he held a world title so be ready.
