And equally known for being a Hollywood Squares regular. Sucked this year for game show icons.
I know it's no time to nitpick, but the site says she was on all incarnations of HS. I don't believe she was ever on the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour.

not a fan, but sucks to hear. I'm sure she was loved by more than will remember me, so I am happy for the life she lived provided there's no skeletons in her closet.

Dammit-I was just thinking that maybe we were going to avoid sudden celebrity deaths this year. R.I.P.

So this just leaves Dick Van Dyke and Larry Matthews as the only living regular cast members, does it?
Well, Carl Reiner is still alive too, but he's 95 so...yeah...

The year started with Mary Tyler Moore’s death and ended with Rose Marie’s. Sounds like she died peacefully at the age of 94. We should all be so lucky. RIP.

I didn't get to see much of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" but from what I saw she was always funny. It looks like she had a full career (according to her Wiki page, she started as a singer at age 5). Rest in peace, Rose Marie.

RIP her Twitter was amazing these past few months, glad she got to see how beloved across all generations she was.

Not a shock, no, but sad nonetheless.
In a cast packed with that much talent, it could have been easy to get lost in the shuffle but she always stood out. Her chemistry with Morey Amsterdam, who was both a friend and writer for her, was especially great.
I'm glad she at least got to see the fan response via social media, as well as the Wait For Your Laugh project picking up steam with multiple showings around the country.

I followed her on Twitter and every day she was on there reminiscing and talking. I never got to talk to her - she was never in a lot of the stuff I've watched over the years so I felt out of place talking her up about them like I knew anything - but I enjoyed her presence there immensely. She had tweeted & was talking about opening the Flamingo Casino in Vegas only a few hours before the news broke. When I saw that post about her death it actually overwhelmed me for a minute. She really did light up my Twitter timeline whenever she was active, and just from that it was obvious how beloved and wonderful a person she was. RIP.
