Then there are guys like Ricky Ortiz, who retire because once outside the wwe buble they are lost, don't know how to hustle and are not good enough for a promoter to hire them. Then again, he married Layla El, so he's a real winner of life anyway.

Was a bit surprised Chris Masters didn't get more indy bookings. From talking to the 2 guys he worked with during his first appearance in Wildkat,Chris was super nice behind the scenes and even helped break down the ring after the show. My friend booked him multiple times. It happened before I was attending the shows, but I have been told tons of times that Masters not only helped set up and tear down for the entire event, he also rushed back to their house to help set up for the afterparty they always throw. Everyone I know who has been around him says he's one of the coolest dudes in the world. I wanna say it was also him who liked a move one of the local guys did, so he asked permission to steal it, and then had the guy showing him how to do it in the back (this *may* have been Kevin Thorn, who is also a supremely nice guy). After his match in Wildkat Masters got on the mic and praised the hell out of his opponent.Who was Bu Ku Dao. Kinda surprised Stevie Richards doesn't get booked more. I know he works often for Wildkat. He worked a Powerslam show back in 2012,after the show Stevie paid for all the workers meals at Waffle House. And hell this was Powerslam so I bet Stevie got paid at most 100 bucks.
