The petty side made me laugh at Cincinnati being the crab of the AFC North and not letting Baltimore make it to the playoff.
No pictures, no gimmicks
Magic's list of people he's f***ing with rn: John Cena (Da God) Roman Reigns (WWE may not know how to book him but I would still dap up The Big Dawg) Handsome Rusev (Strap him up, WWE) Charlotte (The Queen) Andrade Almas (Swagger for days) Jay Lethal (you tripping if you thought I wouldn't include a brother that's killing the game on this list) Hiroshi Tanahashi (Da God of NJPW) Kazuchika Okada (This boy is too nice)
I mentioned the whole AFC playoff debacle in a previous thread. But wow, the Bills and Titans being in the playoffs make the AFC look like a real dumpster fire. The Bills somehow went 9-7 with a -53 point differential while the Titans were a little better at 9-7 with a -22. Meanwhile neither the Ravens or Chargers are in despite being (to me anyway) obviously better teams. Both were 9-7 but the Ravens had a +92 differential which was nearly as good as the Steelers and the Chargers were +83. So really Buffalo and Tennessee being in makes these playoffs a lot worse because neither team is capable of really doing anything. At least the Ravens usually torment the Pats, while the Chargers could probably play with just about anyone in the AFC. We know the Bills have zero shot even if they get past the first round. Do we need to see them get stomped by New England by 3 TDs again?
Yesterday was such classic 1990s Bengals silliness. As in starting the year as total crap and being way out of it, but then winning ill advised games late in the season to finish a sorta respectable 7-9. Now they don't get in the playoffs and hurt their draft status as well.
I gotta be honest...the NFC playoff picture is baffling. It's obviously far better than the AFC (which is a prelude to NE/Pitt II). I thought the Saints could be a Super Bowl team but anyone who loses to the Bucs can't be taken seriously. Tampa giving you a game is one thing, but actually winning?! With Nick Foles I give the Eagles basically zero shot of advancing, so the top seed should be done after 1 round. Carolina is a fraud of a team, somehow going 11-5 with a mediocre +36 differential. The Rams already got stomped by the Vikings so I dunno if they can win on the road, and really the Rams just feel like a team about a year away. The Falcons just look glad to be back in the playoffs, probably 1 and done. That really just leaves the Vikings, who if someone takes out the Eagles could actually play the whole playoffs and Super Bowl at home.
So yeah, New England vs. Minnesota. I'm sure the good people of Minnesota will be thrilled when their team is inevitably Montreal Screwjobbed, ripped off, and everything else in that one.
