I would say H. Jon Benjamin for having a lot of well known characters. Ben Katz, Coach Mcguirk, Archer, Bob Belcher, etc. But he just uses his normal voice for all of them.
Any thoughts on this one?

Mae Questel. No question about it, should be on any sort of list like this. The voice of Betty Boop from 1931 up through Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the voice of Olive Oyl, and for a time, the voice of Popeye himself. She was the voice of Casper the Friendly Ghost and Little Audrey as well as Winky Dink on the groundbreaking early TV show Winky Dink and You. Oh, and she did some live-action work too, her most memorable being Aunt Bethany in Christmas Vacation.
Arthur Q. Bryan. He only did one voice, but it was Elmer Fudd, and he was the only Fudd from the beginning through his death in 1959.
Clarence Nash. The voice of Donald Duck for over 50 years.

Bea Benaderet was the female voice in many WB cartoons in the 40's and 50's (Ma Bear in the 3 Bears series and was the obnoxious bobby-soxer Little Red Riding Hood, for example) and was the voice of Betty Rubble in the Flintstones. This was in addition to regular appearances on Burns and Allen, Cousin Pearl on the first few seasons of the Beverly Hillbillies and Kate Bradley on Petticoat Junction.

Mel Blanc, June Foray, Daws Butler and Mae Questel would be my choices for the "classic" era. However far back you want to go so far as what classic means, I guess.
Tara Strong, Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen and Frank Welker are my picks for modern animation.

For me personally, it's Mark Hamill, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, and Rob Paulsen. Just the ones that have left the biggest overall impression on me, personally.

Gary Owens is rarely mentioned these days, given how far-reaching and influential his career was through radio, animation, tv commercials and live-action announcing.

Probably not done enough but an honourable mention should go to Pinto Colvig
Voiced various Disney characters such as Goofy, Pluto, and two of the seven Dwarfs (Grumpy & Sleepy).. also voiced on one occasion Oswald The Lucky Rabbit one Of Walt Disney’s earliest cartoon creations.
But the Goofy laugh should get him consideration

I'd put James Avery on the long list.
More so for being the first animated Shredder and not for Junkyard Dog, obviously.

am I the first to suggest Clancy Brown? his voice has been a hell of a lot. I hope you're not. The fact that the biggest roles of his career were Lex Luthor and Mr. Crabs shows that the dude has hella variety. (Also he was in one of the best parts of Hail Cesar)
