I highly dislike Bayley, but I still think it's really stupid not to push someone the crowd is really into and to also make no efforts to hide their shortcomings, and then write them off when you f*** up.

They went out of their way to make her look like shit in the Bliss feud, what do they want her to do? I feel bad for her. Any time you hear an interview with her you can tell how passionate she is about what she does and how much this is a dream for her, and I can't imagine how disheartening it must be to get to where you've wanted to be your whole life and continuously be put into a position to fail. There are a lot of other aspects to this that are frustrating, like the contrast between how NXT and the main roster are run and WWE still only really being invested in certain types of women despite their "women's revolution" shit but I don't trust myself to articulate it as well as others will. And the sad thing is, she IS such a superfan, that she'll swallow their bullshit hook, line, and sinker, and blame herself for failing them, instead of being rightfully pissed at them for failing her.

This is one reason I'm happy I don't watch live Raw's any more. I haven't really seen any of the negative reactions she supposedly received. Bayley is still over with me and she's still the loveable babyface hugger she was on NXT. They may not be pushing her as the top face on Raw but she's still extremely marketable.
Her booking has been bad from what I've seen no doubt (I would never had her drop the belt to Bliss, would have had her hold it till Summerslam and lose it to a heel Sasha) but she's easily salvageable. I still enjoy seeing her and I'm still holding out hope WWE do the Sasha feud eventually even though it seems they have no interest.

I cannot stand Bayley but even I know she should be one of the top women in WWE. She's very lacking in confidence though and I can see that being the reasom Vince isn't so high on her.

The heel reactions she got seemed to be an isolated incident in Toronto and Brooklyn that petered out when she went off TV to rehab her shoulder. Against all f***ing odds given how things have gone in the last few months, she’s still modestly over... which seems to indicate that live crowds haven’t given up on her, even if WWE may have.

Bayley's title win at Takeover: Brooklyn was one of the most unapologetic, feelgood moments in modern pro-wrestling that left this viewer hopeful that, since NXT laid out the blueprint of how this character works, there might be time again that we see such a wonderful culmination of an act's journey on an even grander stage with all the bells and whistles that entails.
At this stage, I'd anticipate that Bayley gets the short-straw in whatever multi-women deal they book to get the female stragglers on the card.

I'm not surprised.
Vince can't book anyone that doesn't fit into his 80's WWF Wrestling Archetypes, anymore. At least then Vince had patience to pay off a storyline, and the babyfaces could look like they knew what they were doing.

I mean...WWE booked her like shit. If you book someone like shit, and they're not as over as they once were, what else did you expect was going to happen?
Like, if I had a friend who was a good person, I treated them like crap and then they stopped being my friend, the f*** did I expect to happen? For them to still be around?
Again, what's the point of developing talents in NXT when you're going to call them up for no reason and not even capitalise on the hype your developmental (not ROH, not PWG, not CZW etc) gives them? Why not just get Danny Davis back and give OVW money again?

So... What do we do from here? Do we rally behind her to try and jumpstart things or do we give up on her too and leave her with nothing? This is a company that still thinks Jason Jordan is a lovable face simply because of nepotism. I know this sounds mean, but I'm okay with washing my hands off of Bayley. They just have this super weird obsession with making their own version of Gail Kim in TNA (Bliss on RAW, Charlotte on SmackDown) of an unstoppable and unbeatable force, except with Bliss, they have a lot more freedom in keeping her invincible because she's a heel. Its really funny; I remember Heyman on the Stone Cold Podcast explaining how the NWA was a heel promotion where the story was more about the guy chasing after the belt while WWF was a face promotion where the story was that of the unstoppable hero conquering all the evildoers. WWE has morphed into a heel promotion nowadays, and a lot like TNA where faces lose all the time & turn heel because what's the point? Its not like we can change their minds at this point.

Every wrestler hates him, thinks he's annoying and want no part of him in like every segment he's in.

Yeah, for all the faults of the thing starting off, I'll give them credit with going the direction they have with it. It's obvious he's turning really soon and the fact that Kurt's blind to his son's growing attitude is actually a nice character aspect.

Except that the commentary is, by extension, Vince's voice, and we have to put up with Cole & Graves gushing while Booker is annoyed.

It's already clear he's been handed the Monkey Paw effect from Cena and Roman. And as far as Bayley, I'd probably care more if I thought she was good at much other than audience connection. She seems a bit below average in the ring, her mic skills are WAY below the rest of the entire roster, and it all seems to have been exposed a lot since she moved to the main roster.

It's already clear he's been handed the Monkey Paw effect from Cena and Roman. I don't get how that's the case, though. Everyone hates him, they've told Kurt so many times that his nepotism is blinding him and whenever he doesn't get his way, he strops and has a tantrum until Kurt resolves it. Eventually, Jordan's going to get tired and kick his ass. Your other point, though, all that stuff together is why you as a booker find ways to protect your talent and utilise their strengths and hide their weaknesses. It's why the New Age Outlaws were so over in the Attitude Era and neither man could do much when the tag team split up. You go with what they have and make that work instead of making her look like a wussbag.

Send her to Smackdown to rebuild her? I'm not sure what being 1 of 8 women in each segment and match will do for her.

Send her to Smackdown to rebuild her? I wouldn't say they need to "rebuild her" per se, but they need to get her the hell away from Alexa in the very least (who needs some serious fine tuning on her booking as well, but I digress). At least on Smackdown, the heels lose on occasion as opposed to the never-ending heel dominance on Raw. If they actually introduce female tag belts in the near future, I could see her thriving in that format with a complementing partner (ie Sasha on Raw or Becky on SDL). They need to give the ladies SOMETHING other than chasing the damned belt or fighting a half-assed NXT trio on both shows...
