I'm making inroads on my dream broadcasting job, and my YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/itsnotcagefighting) has boomed in recent weeks.

My son.
Two awesome jobs (Running a small Library / giving ghost tours in a Hearse)
The first couple weeks of the year are a bit of downer, so thanks for starting a possitive thread.

My son. He's almost four years old and is at the stage in life where daddy is the coolest person in the world and can do no wrong.

My boyfriend and I are coming up on our 2-year anniversary since we started dating. And I'm very, very blessed to say I'm debt-free, for which I owe a lot to my family.

I'm getting closer to my Bachelor's degree in graphic design. The classes are going well so far.
Also my dog is disgustingly cute.

I'm in my final semester for my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. I'm also set to graduate debt-free.

My 11 month old son. He's full on walking now. He's starting to mimic us more and more. Him trying to make monkey noises with his face all scrunched up was the best. (Aside from teething and being up all night when a tooth is coming through. Sleep deprivation is torture. Sorry, neighbors!)
Professionally I have a pretty good bright spot too. I have been stuck in a low paying attorney job (about 45K) with a county court for about 5 years.
I've finally had an opening. The judge I work for is married to a Federal appellate judge, and I am going to be a clerk for him in the fall for a one year term. I would NEVER get this position if I was competing for it, they are too prestigious and I had middling grades and no accomplishments to speak of in law school.
It will more than double my salary. I think just under six figures. More importantly, the position should open doors for me.
There is one problem. This is all assuming the judge doesn't drop dead. He is in his 90s, and the offer expires if he does.

Working for myself
It's been 2 years since I finished my Bachelors Degree in Accounting and I see the building blocks to something bigger coming along

My sobriety, though I’m ashamed to admit I have stumbled already. My job search is picking up a bit now that it is a new year and there are more openings being posted. My FB page and twitter feed The Nightmare Nerd iare racking up more likes and follows.
