Kevin Harvick has been docked 40 points and his win from Texas no longer locks him into the Homestead championship race. His car was assesed with and L1 level penalty, according to NASCAR.com. "The team violated Section 20.4.12 of the NASCAR Rule Book that is specific to spoilers. Spoilers must be used exactly as supplied from the manufacturer and not altered." This moves him from locked in to 4th in points, just 3 above the cutline. His crew chief and car chief have both been suspended from the final 2 races of the 2018 season.
L1 infractions were also given to Ryan Blaney and Erik Jones.

I don’t know how many follow the Macau Grand Prix closely, I normally don’t, but popping up on my Twitter timeline right now is possibly the most terrifying race crash I’ve ever seen. It’s pretty prominent on the #MacauGP tags, so I’ll leave that for the curious, but won’t link it here for the squeamish... German F3 driver Sophia Floersch has lost it at some point of the long second straight, no brakes, has clipped Japanese driver Sho Tsuboi making the next slow right hander and lifted up and THROUGH the catch fencing at essentially race speed. No updates yet on any injuries to drivers or marshals, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were very serious injuries out of this.
EDIT: Not through the fencing per se, but the rear end of the car glanced off of it and smashed into a makeshift building housing trackside photographers. The G-forces of the sudden stop could be devastating.
