"Neville is one of my favorite pros in the business. He carried NXT with that title and was a tag-team champion there. Then he worked the 205 division with the hardest schedule in silence, he was working Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then Mondays and Tuesdays. When guys were catching red-eye flights from the west coast after Raw, Neville was driving on to the next town or taking an early morning flight. It's the hardest schedule in pro wrestling because you are closing out 205 [Live] at the end of the week. I hope Neville comes back and we feud. I have never seen a guy work like he does." wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2018/0107/635650/enzo-amore-on-neville-crazy-travel-schedule-with-wwe/

Neville and Enzo were perfect rivals. I think their segment on the go home 205 Live for No Mercy and the celebration ceremony after No Mercy were not just the best cruiserweight segments of the year, but two of the best in the entire company.

I know we crack on 205 Live all the time, but the show was really getting momentum going with Neville out front. Just hasn't been the same since he took his leave of absence.

And you wonder why he was so pissed they they promptly told him he'd still be doing 205 Live when he literally did all there was to do there and wanted to basically expand on his gimmick and how over he was on the Main Roster?
Yeah can't imagine why he'd leave, I know 205 Live hasn't been the same without him but at this point he'd have been better served on Smackdown...

This is also Enzo's way of saying that he's the one with that shitty schedule now.

There were fresh feuds with Nakamura, Sami, Orton and Styles among others ready for him.

Enzo and Neville on 205 is the best of both worlds. Both guys are amazing but they fill what each other are missing 100% But Neville completely deserved to move up the card after the hard and wonderful work he put

Make no mistake that Enzo was backdoor saying “I have the hardest schedule in the business”.

I mean good for Neville and Enzo that they have that work ethic but holy Christ that schedule is batshit insanity. What's the point? It's not like they're this huge part of the show thats bringing in tons of money. They don't need to be at RAW and then working 205 the next night. These dudes are killing themselves and getting paid less than most of the roster. Wasn't there a thing about them not getting video game royalties?

Since Enzo and Neville were signed to regular contracts I don’t think that was something they needed to worry about. The rest of the cruisetweights only work the Raw/205 Live tapings save for one person to challenge the champ at the house shows.

This is also Enzo's way of saying that he's the one with that shitty schedule now. Not raggin on enzo here I'm sure he has a heavy schedule and works hard. But Neville was probably expected to put on show stopping matches each date. Enzos more expected to do his mic work and some tag matches

Enzo is pretty much speaking up for the entire 205 Live Group & smartly using a guy who already left so nobody gets in trouble or buried for it. If this schedule is the case, and they are sticking them on pre-shows/not giving them royalties etc, it makes you wonder how long they can expect to keep anyone around.

It's almost like WWE screwing Neville over was a giant mistake.

Yeah, the schedule these folks keep is pretty nuts. Especially if you have to work both Raw and SDL/205. It’s a wonder people don’t leave more often just from sheer burnout. Wrestlers are a different breed, man.

Yeah the cruiserweights really get f***ed in general, they have to work both the Monday and Tuesday tapings. None of the main roster guys have to do that.

It'd be nice now if this interview would quiet the people who like to say Neville left because he hated losing to Enzo. Enzo had very little, if anything, to do with Neville leaving. He was burnt out long before WWE began considering putting Enzo in 205 Live by all accounts.

People have this f***ed up idea that all wresdtler hate losing to someone like Enzo or someone they deem being a bad wrestler.

Well, if more people speak up about Neville and basically make him indispensable to 205's success (and the brass listen), then maybe he'll return. As it sounds now, though, the brass aren't playing ball with him and are quite happy with letting him sit out his contract and letting the Cruiserweight division languish, so that the rest of that roster can get blamed for "not reaching for the brass ring."
