i don't think that safety actually botched it. he got there so early if he would've carried through with the hit. it would've been before the ball got to the WR and it would've been an auto pass interference and would have stopped the clock in FG range

I think that game is up there with the 2004 World Series as far as the dark times go in sports.

And surreal to see as a former Rams fan the two back ups we thought were trash in an NFC Championship game. At this point I'm all for former STL Rams players getting rings. Don't really have a rooting interest besides not the Patriots.

I think the Jags have a decent shot next week. Brady is typically at his weakest when he's facing a tough pass rush that gets in his face every play. Plus the Patriots run game is banged up and that's the one area the Jaguars defense looks mortal. It really just all depends on if Bortles will play nice.

Didn't know that about the Jags D. The run game really isn't banged up anymore. Lewis whose been extremely good this year continues to shine, White was back this weekend and looked very good and now maybe Burkhead returns on Sunday. Again if the Jags D is weak against the run they could be in for a long night even if Brady isn't Brady like.

Earlier, I said this might be Tomlin's last game as Steelers coach. But after having time to think about it......... what's the alternative? Even if they did get rid of him, it's not like firing him would mean Pittsburgh would automatically stop playing down to the competition. Browns and Bengals fans will kill for him as a head coach 😂 Three coaches in fifty years. All had down years. All won Super Bowls. Tomlin wins a ring his second year with the team and takes them to another Super Bowl. Has consistently had a winning record. Just went 13-3. Oh yeah, and he's black, you think the Rooneys will fire their first black coach after what Tomlin has accomplished? With their name on a rule to encourage hiring black coaches? Come on, now. Tomlin leaves when he wants to leave.

Predicting that rule will be altered in the offseason. For what reason, that's been the rule for 40+ years. Yeah, that rule is here to stay since a defense can "return" a blocked PAT/ botched snap for 2 points since I think, about 2015. and on a 'nother note Paul Allen being Paul Allen. He's a treasure for us. That is why I couldn't be a radio sports commentator, since no matter what side I was on my comment would be the same. "YOU GOT TO BE SHITTING ME!!!!!!!"

So Millie Wall, the 99-year old Vikings fan, was gifted 2 tickets to the Super Bowl by Roger Goodell last night. I think I also heard that the Vikings are going to give her a suite at the Philly game, but I can't seem to find anything about that at the moment.
Good for her. I hope she gets to see her team play in the Super Bowl on their own turf (nothing personal Eagle fans).

I don't, I'm sure there are a bunch of 99 year old Eagles fans who want to see them win just as much.

Millie’s just another reason why I’m rooting on the Vikings. Always like to see a team win their first championship.

Huge Vikings Fan here. I'm ok with anybody but the Pats. It's hard to be sad about losing when a first timer is getting the win.

Patriots rushing was top ten in the league this year, and they do it with more than one guy.
The Steelers game plan was idiotic. Patriots is going to be simple. Eat up the run and make Blake Bortles beat you. As much crap as the Pats defense has received I think a lot of people are remembering the earlier parts of the year.
Since the Patriots lost to the Panthers on October 1st and had what was a record breaking bad defense for the first month they've only allowed 20+ points twice, and have held teams under 10 four times. They were fourth in the league in PPG allowed even after that atrocious start. As boring and pedestrian as the Patriots defense has been they've also been one of the best in the NFL since 10/1. That's what Bortles needs to beat.
It's the NFL and of course anything can happen but in the end they need to beat the New England Patriots in Foxboro in the AFC championship game with Blake Bortles.

When was the last time a team had a chance to play at home in the Super Bowl? Never, they'll be the first. That is mostly true in that no team has ever played in their home stadium in the Super Bowl. However, the Rams came close in 1980 when they played the Super Bowl at the Rose Bowl when they played at the LA Memorial Colosseum.

Nick Foles is in the NFC Championship Blake Bortles is in the AFC Championship Tom Brady is looking to check if his punch was spiked. Punch? PUNCH!?! TOM BRADY DOES NOT DRINK PUNCH! Tom Brady only drinks rainwater off the leaves of the Yingyong tree which can only be found deep in the Amazon. Punch might as well be hydrochloric acid to Brady. So what you're saying is we should spike Brady's Amazonian Bottled Rainwater with clear punch. BRILLIANT!!!!
