It's much easier to think of things that are still appropriate. So..Sesame Street..maybe?

Sexy & 17 by the Stray Cats It's a great song.......as long as you're in high school. The older you are, the creepier you sound singing it.

How about mooning someone? Does that still happen in 2018? I feel like by todays standards mooning the wrong person could get you put on a registered sex offender list.

Venkman makes the original Ghostbusters very disturbing to watch.

Something tells me that if UHF was made today, the Raul's Wild Kingdom segment wouldnt be included (you might get away with "turtles are nature's suction cup" and him shaking up the ant farm, but no dice on "today we teach poodles to fly!"). Yes, anything with animal abuse for comedy, full stop. (I don't even like it when it's to establish a horror or thriller villain) As such, Beavis and Butt-head, pre-fire incident. Things in which being gay is the basis for putdowns between friends or enemies. I've never been okay with animal abuse being played for comedy. It's why I'll never be able to enjoy National Lampoon's Vacation and Christmas Vacation as much as I'd like to. They're otherwise classic comedies, but the scenes in question just kill it for me.

Animal House, Revenge of the Nerds, The Jerk, MASH, and a boatload of other classic comedy movies have been removed from the public mindset. Likely due to things being different now.

As much as I love them, the UK had a popular series of comedy films during the 60s and 70s with the title "carry on...", these films features lots of rather dodgy situations and so many double entendres, and plenty of naughtiness with women that would not be acceptable in this day and age, I find them harmless fun but I think not a chance would they get over these days. At the rate things are going, I think any male/female relationship is going to be banned from film, TV, etc. Yes. That is absolutely what is going to happen, and a perfectly reasonable conclusion to reach. Why, by the end of this week, every single bit of media focused around male/female romances will vanish from your screens forever. That'll leave us with, what... 0.1% of all films ever made left?

I feel that most 80s "raunchy" comedies are kinda creepy and sometimes rapey.

Star Trek: The Original Series has a ton of episodes that do not age well.

He sees you when you're sleeping He knows when you're awake He knows if you've been bad or good So be good for goodness sake You better watch out You better not cry You better not pout I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming To Town "...say your prayers cause Santa Claus comes tonight." "Jump in bed and cover your head cause Santa Claus comes tonight." "Santa knows we're God's children, that makes everything right."

Any movie or tv show where a "hero" character smokes. The only exceptions being Jigen from Lupin III (and that characters been around since the late 60s/early 70s, so he can probably get away with it via grandfather clause) and Sanji from One Piece.

There's an episode of Saved By The Bell where the guys secretly take pictures of the girls in their swimsuits and sell calendars of them. The fact that they were basically peeping toms and they were selling pics of girls that were supposed to be underage at the time, is all kinds of weird and creepy. But at the time it was funny and everyone was like "Oh that mischievous Zack Morris..." Revenge of the Nerds has been mentioned already, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this post. Remember the scene where the Tri-Lambs install the hidden cameras in the sorority house to peep on them, then start selling pies with naked pictures of them in the plates? That'd get them expelled, at the absolute least. And then there's the scene where Lewis dresses up as Betty's boyfriend and has sex with her. It fits all the criteria for a "rape by deception" charge.

Even watching Days of Future Past the other day, it surprised me they showed Logan taking a few drags out of a cigar still.

I mean, have people been watching the shit that's been made in the past 5 years or so? Not exactly G-Rated fun for the whole family.

I mean, have people been watching the shit that's been made in the past 5 years or so? Not exactly G-Rated fun for the whole family. Are you referring to gore, sex and cussing? In this day and age, those are all less taboo than they were a couple decades ago. Obviously, not 100% taboo free, but just less taboo in general.
