OK, I gave the Patriots their due, but now I'm about to unleash a rant:
I've given you a ton of grief over the years. Some deserved, some maybe a little harsh. But I'm going to be 100% sincere here:
Your time is coming. Nothing lasts forever, whether it be glory, or obscurity. Take it from someone who saw the Sox and Patriots as jokes throughout his childhood. As someone who saw the Bruins and Celtics as shells of what they used to be.
The euphoria of seeing your team win it all is awesome. You're going to get there. And someday, soon, it'll be me watching the Pats miss the playoffs, going 6-10 recalling the "glory days" of Brady and Belichick.
That said, I'm not going to feel bad for enjoying this ridiculous run that the Patriots, and Boston Sports as a whole, have been on since 2001.
Don't mock the guy. That's cruel.
Do you really think that is gonna come true? Your statement comes off as belittling or mocking more than encouraging, in my opinion.
