I always saw Hania's gimmick when she came in was as a stop-gap for Rosemary since Taya had her visa issues. Once they were done with that and were able to get Taya back, she was expendable.

She may have a history but TNA calling her in, pushing her big, then relegating her to "get squashed in a minute and change" duty is still on TNA. Sometimes, the talent and the promoter are equally bad in a situation. Agreed Both were dumb in this regard which is par the course for their reputations Almost like being a company that strives to sign deeply troubled workers who have burnt all their bridges elsewhere and make no attempt to reign them in will attract people who are difficult to work with.

For real, what was the last 90 second or less match that actually got somebody over big that wasn't already over?
That's not a rhetorical question, btw. I'm honestly curious because I'm struggling to think of one. Even the most basic squash matches have to go a couple of minutes so the name star can get their shit in and get their moveset over.

Braun/Ellsworth? but that was more because Ellsworth looked ridiculous than anything else. Braun didn't really get over until way later. then again most of Ellsworth being over was that they kept using him... due to looking ridiculous

I remember years ago someone found her Facebook that had some batshit crazy ramblings. So the attitude problems are not shocking.

She was booked for previous KOKD shows and just happened to 'miss' her flight and not inform IMPACT about it from my understanding, leaving them with a flight bill. Since when does Impact pay wrestlers flights? They struggle to pay them for wrestling, let alone flights.

Eh, I'm more likely to believe her considering it seems rarer people actually have much bad to say about Impact right now. And narratives are much easier to write with the back history of the company.

Brock squashed Cena. Kane squashed Finn. They both came back. A rare case of Impact being 100% right.

Brock squashed Cena. Kane squashed Finn. They both came back. A rare case of Impact being 100% right. They were already established stars. First impressions are very important, why should anyone lose in under 90 seconds if they're not brought in as jobbers?

The Twitter account of Casey Michael, the dude who runs Squared Circle Sirens. Has a surprisingly strong track record as a news source for women's wrestling.

I’m fairly up on the indie scene and I had no idea who Hania was before this thread. This isn’t Tessa Blanchard or Rachel Ellering here. If she was brought in just to do the job she could maybe argue for a gimmick change for the match, but to just say “not doing it” is bullshit.

Between this and having an affair with a married man, she sounds like a lovely person!
Lol apparently her real name is Tamara. Why is that name such a red flag?

Owner of Squaredcirclesirens. When it comes to womens' wrestling news and info the guy is honestly just about on Meltzer's level as far as credibility goes. He's super connected to the women's scene and doesn't usually rattle off empty rumours and random shit talking, so when he chimes in on something you can be pretty confident what he's saying pans out.

She was at the last set of tapings too and was being treated as important.

ANOTHER IMPACT EXIT (BEFORE SHE EVEN REALLY BEGAN) COMMENTS ON DEPARTURE by Mike Johnson & Steven Fernandez @ 10:16 PM on 1/19/2018
Hania the Huntress took to Twitter to address leaving Impact Wrestling last week, which was her second set of TV tapings with the company after being signed last year:
{Tweet from above}
In regard to what Hania claims was blown out of proportion, we have heard from several who worked the tapings that she was booked to wrestle against Su Yung (who was getting a push as part of her debut to set up a program with Alllie) and upon learning she was booked to lose, Hania balked at doing the job. She then informed the company she was done. It was a move that left people shaking their heads, because as one worker told me, "Who's going to remember who lost that match a year from now or even a month from now?"
Tamara McNeill, 27, originally broke into the business under a mask as Saturnyne in 2011 for CHIKARA before working for Ring of Honor and a slew of independent promotions over the last several years.

You mean people like Dave Meltzer, Casey Michael, and Taya Valkyrie blowing you not wanting to do a J-O-B out of proportions, yeah right. You just got another company to tell ya "Bye and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out". Even if it is Impact, you need to know better.
