Watching Battle Royal At Royal Albert Hall 1991 right now. A whole event from my favorite era of wrestling with Gorilla and Bobby on commentary that I’ve never seen. There’s an excellent match with Ric Flair (with unblurred NWA Big Gold Belt, a surreal site still today) vs. a pre-El Matador Tito Santana. Undertaker has a neat entrance that I won’t spoil. Highly recommended if you’re a fan of early 90’s WWF. Funny note: they dubbed over the intro music with a song that sounded somewhat familiar. I finally realized it’s the current theme of The Fashion Files.

Just watched a good chunk of the overseas one with the WWF title Savage/Shawn Michaels match. Man, that was cool with Sherri and Liz at ringside, getting involved. I'm glad they had the match.

It seems the awesome music for the Coliseum Video intro has been overdubbed on 1985's "Unusual Matches". I'm just glad they included the intro itself. Maybe we'll get that theme music eventually. I'll look on other early Coliseum uploads to see if this is indeed true. Edit: Can confirm that the Coliseum intro music is dubbed over on all 85 and 86 uploads. Sucks but hopefully we'll get it corrected one day. From what I heard, the intro music might have been taken from NFL films.

Invasion Of The Bodyslammers includes a match from the end of Ric Flair's first WWF run called by Jim Ross. Didn't think these two runs overlapped.

Are they listed under Vault > Home Video Classics? Also, does anyone know if they old superstar tapes will be released at any time? There was an old Bret one and Razor one that I rented nearly every week when I was younger. Yes that’s where they are

That commentary was done later in studio. A lot of the 1993 Coliseum Videos have JR calling matches that happened when he was still in WCW. On "Bashed in the USA," there's a 40-man battle royal that includes Kerry Von Erich, and when they talk about him, you can tell the commentary was recorded after he died.

In Sean Mooney's world, there are no wrestling matches, only encounters.

It is just production music, but I don't know the library. Oddly, it's dubbed over at the beginning of "Hottest Matches," but the tag team title recap thing after the first match has it unedited. "Rampage '92" plays it during the trivia segments as well.

It was probably from another library used for commercials and such.

On the Network, it's dubbed over on Supertape 1 but is intact on the WCCW episodes that had it. It's actually an NBA Films theme, not NFL Films. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJnc7O4tQZg
