I hate when wrestlers redo a spot in a ladder/table/hardcore match.
As an example, the final spot in Ladder War 6. The table broke right before Kaz was about to get reversed into an Indy Taker from the ladder. Kaz stops, punches both, and then they just sit there while he readjusts the table and then "restarts" the match.
Things like that just take me out the moment. Jericho and Omega hinted at this on TIJ. When things happen you have to improvise and let the match feel natural.
During a match don't stop everything to readjust.
For the record I did think it was a tremendous match.

Orton bringing back the Garvin stomp just to piss off old school work rate fans. Why would that piss anyone off? Even as someone who's not a big fan of Orton, the stomps were awesome looking.

When a guy is having a decent back and forth with Cena, Cena scoops them up for the AA and they just lay there while he poses. 3 seconds ago it was fight, him picking them up immobilized them.
I’d have no issue if it was an explosive AA.

Ooooh Marty Scurll just broke that guy’s fingers.
Oh. He’s perfectly fine literally a minute later.

this is again one of the "this is their spot" thing in WWE.
But...
Finishers that have a definite setup...
like Shawn Michaels tuning up the band, Cena hitting the five Knuckle Shuffle, Orton pounding the mat, Kofi clapping, Sheamus beating his chest...
always meaning it's getting reversed after it gets established as what they are doing..
I mean I get it some of it can be written off as their opponents scouting them but... then why do they still do it in later matches?
It wouldn't be so bad if they hit it with more frequency but it almost always leads to a reversal

Oh man, I just had a massive long time gripe come to mind. It’s not so much a modern complaint anymore but.....
Was there anything worse than hearing a wrestler or commentator refer to it as “The” WCW? Former WWF and NWA guys were the most egregious, but it always annoyed the shit out of me. It’s one of those grammatical errors that just hurts your ears.
True WCW guys like Sting and Arn were really good about not using the article, but guys like Hogan and other WWF’ers that came in couldn’t adapt their promo style. Mongo might have been the worse offender whether he was on commentary or cutting a promo.

Late career HBK for some reason forgot how to punch people anymore, so he replaced it, and a good 45 percent of his moveset, with knife-edged chops.
Also, guys would do backbreakers, etc, to him to play off of the back problems, and he'd just give up on selling that so he could kip up by the end of the match.

Angelo Dawkins' stupid mixing bowl taunt. Actually, most things he does in the ring irritate me but that one in particular.

When the Revival, the so called Old School ass kickers, the reborn Brainbusters act like cowardly southern heels (so every single match). They're more Well Dunn than Brainbuster.

Have an opponent in a submission hold in the center of the ring only to let go when someone gets up on the apron. Every SINGLE time

Bubba Ray did hit it at least once, when I think Jeff was draped over a ladder. It was kinda satisfying to see it amount to something, and it looked pretty devastating. Ric has hit the top rope chop a few times as well. I noticed that when Flair is a face he hits the top rope chop but, it's when he's a heel he gets thrown off.

Like, if it's a tag match or they otherwise have a reason to expect to be hit while in the hold, it's better to be prepared to defend yourself. Otherwise, yeah, it can be moronic.

Kane taking the Pedigree bump on one knee always used to bug me. And then I noticed Jericho starting to do it, too.
