The NFL's 52nd Super Bowl matchup is set.
The New England Patriots go for the repeat chip, 6th overall, and 3rd in 4 years for the second time, against the team they achieved this feat on the first time, The Philadelphia Eagles, going for their first ever win of a Super Bowl, and first chip since 1960.
EAGLES!
PATRIOTS!
Sunday night, February 4th, 6:30 PM ish, ON NBC!

The NFL needs to implement a Money in the Bank scenario. Seriously, f*** the outcome of this game either way.

Where's the "Not watching" or "I don't give a shit" option?

From an NBC perspective, this is a great ratings scenario.
You get two big markets, Philly and Boston.

Where's the "Not watching" or "I don't give a shit" option? I had a hint of interest when it happened 13 years ago, but literally of all the teams to get there, this was probably my least desirable, outside of the Steelers somehow switching to the NFC or something. That's the stuff of nightmares.

Rooting Eagles, no desire to watch another Patriots Superbowl.

Patriots will win when Foles reverts back to crappy Foles and tosses picks like it’s going out of style.

The Pats are my team and I am obviously rooting for them. But I won't count out Philly either. They were beat once by the Patriots and I can see them using it as motivation. I do want Brady to win his sixth and retire afterwards.

If NE wins another SB, it would be a perfect spot for Brady to drop the mic and walkoff.

If NE wins another SB, it would be a perfect spot for Brady to drop the mic and walkoff. You know, if the Patriots can draft a good QB or get their hands on someone like Garoppolo, that can be a good ending for Brady. Winning the Super Bowl 6 times, establishing the standards that people have come to expect from the Patriots and then handing the keys to the kingdom to the new generation could be a nice way to end things instead of sticking around for too long and take a dip on his performance. If you're going out, you might as well go on top.
