It's going up against the launch of Nintendo LABO, truly an epic clash of video game titans the likes of which we have ever bared witness to.

Every trailer I see makes me want to play it less.

Every trailer I see makes me want to play it less. In fairness, it looks like it's heavily using the Last of Us sort of game play with Adult/Child dynamic which will obviously turn people off Tho Uncharted 4 had somewhat the same in regards to having a partner and I greatly enjoyed that game

So, a proven popular franchise that takes a step into something their fans don't like vs cardboard constructs for the family. All on 4/20.
I swear they (Sony and Nintendo) had to combine this double release between themselves. Otherwise, Sony had to wait for Nintendo to reveal the Labo and its release date to book theirs... and that just sounds stupid, especially with dropping it at a random time like this instead of their E3 or late year presentations.

I've been playing God of War since the first game came out, I've played every one of them, I am psyched for this.

I am hyped for this. Though, not as much as I should be. Wonder how they will explain his sacrifice at the end of GoW3

Interested in seeing how they handle it as far as being more open world instead of linear and the storyline of how Kratos got to where he is today Be a good holdover to whenever we get Last of Us II this year and Red Dead Redemption

I've never been a fan of the God of War games.
This looks far closer to my style of game, and I'll very likely be checking it out

What I mainly loved about the God of War games was the combat and how well it flows. It seems that they kept that, and improved upon it.

I f***ing hate sequels with the same name as the originals. That shit worked with MK9 because it was a reboot. This isn't so knock it off.

Yea the combat in this game looks very good and looks like it has a impact and makes for fun and different combos I was already hype for the game but that was the 1st time I was looking at combat and it looked very good. Seems like his son as well will also play an important part which could make this an interesting journey

Isn't that a small nitpick tho Unofficially everyone knows it as God of War 4 but God of War is the official title with a whole new story so new players won't be "scared away" going into a 4th title feeling like they have to have knowledge of the first 3 games

Kratos was so completely unlikable in GOW3 that I almost felt bad even playing as him.
Hopefully, they can make him even two-dimensional in this one.

I forgot their was a video I watched not to long ago talking about how Kratos at least had some emotion during the start and some "conflicting emotions" but the dude became hollow and a dickhead by the end killing anyone and didn't care the world was burning around him. From the previews I've seen so far, he's going to come across much better. Supposedly the start of the game is "more emotional" than people would expect so I expect a tough journey with his son and it seems he's doing this all for him as well.
