Heath had me and my friends dying laughing. It was amazing.

Shinsuke, Asuka, and Finn.
Two Japanese Royal Rumble winners, in the SAME night. Just awesome.
It should've been Finn and Nakamura as the last two, that would have been an epic showdown for future highlight videos.
But nope.
Still I'd rather have minor complaints than major annoyances.
Not counting Ronda Rousey coming out for no reason and stealing Asuka's moment.

Nakamura's win.
I think tonight was a lesson in that you can book something that's been predicted, and is expected, and still make it such a pleasant surprise.

Heath was great. So glad he didn't just get wiped out the match but actually got in and eliminated his fellow ginger.

Mine was the "new blood vs millionaires club" moment when there were 6 guys left in the rumble.

Trish looked GREAT out there. I was genuinely surprised how naturally she just got right back into the swing of things.
I think the big surprise was a guy people wanted to win who needed to win got to actually win the Royal Rumble for a change.

Too many highlights to name. Fantastic show and with one of the best Rumble matches of all time in my opinion.

I'm going off the board here. When John Cena hit the ring and everyone in there jumped him it was f***ing surreal. If you would have told me that dudes that made their names in New Japan, RoH, and CMLL (plus Elias) weren't made to look like goobers beating down John Cena in a WWE ring on the second biggest show of the year, I would have called you a liar. It was cool that it was the dudes who made it somewhere else against the establishment for that moment, very cool. This got a cheer and a laugh from the crew I was watching the Rumble with. Me personally, Balor the Iron Man, Hurricane for a night, and Beth/Nattie's reunion. If Balor wasn't going to win the rumble (and I'm just as stoked that Nakamura did), he made an amazing showing. I wish I could make more choices, but there's a lot of things that made this PPV Fun. That includes a mostly well-behaved crowd.

There were so many to pick but I’m going for Heath’s arc because it embodied the biggest problems with the 2015 Rumble and why 2018 was so much better.
Think about, say, the Mizdow moment from 2015 when Miz tried to take his place and got smacked out by Roman(?) before entering. Think about how much the audience wanted Mizdow to get into that match and make some kind of impact on a night when they were made to feel miserable and how much they erupted when he got in and hit people...then remember the crowd went back to booing seconds later when he was dumped out. It pretty much rendered all that pointless.
In any other Rumble, Heath would have been laid out and dragged away never to be seen again but him having an arc where every heel kicked his ass (and Big E didn’t help him) lead to the crowd wanting to see him get in the ring and when he got in the ring and dumped Sheamus out, the crowd erupted because the arc was paid off. No, Heath wasn’t going to win the Rumble but the payoff made people enjoy the match even more since there were other stories going on and focusing on the roster (along with Heath’s own “toughen up” storyline with Rhyno).
Also, the person who came up with the “New Generation vs. Class of 2002” bit deserves a raise. That was awesome to see unfold.

Nakamura winning. Not only because I'm a huge fan, but also because of how genuinely happy he seemed.
At long last WWE gave us a winner the majority wanted
