Right, that's a photoshop thread. Also, I'm going to say that her "full time" will be somewhere between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. Meaning that she might not be on TV every week (and rarely at house shows), but she wouldn't disappear for months on end like Lesnar.

My friend Ian came over for the Rumble tonight and he was predicted a Rousey win. Of course she wasn't even in the match. So I have to admit I was baffled when she did just show up and challenge someone to a match at WM. I gotta be honest, there's no way I'm sacrificing Charlotte's heat so that they can try and pretend Ronda Rousey is the least bit relevant in the year 2018. Let her squash Bliss in 15 seconds while we can do Charlotte/Asuka in something that might be decent. In fact that's what they'll probably do since who cares about Asuka/Bliss again after Asuka already won decisively on Raw?
I joked after the Rousey thing tonight "You know...there was a little 30 woman Rumble you could have entered if you wanted to face either champ at WM...."

If she is in full-time, then you keep Asuka and her away from each other for a full year.
Do Rousey vs. Asuka next WrestleMania and you build to it for a full year.
The biggest women's match in history is right there if you want to do it right. It's a license to print money.

Once somebody tells her to job, she will likely lose her mind.
I'm not saying that to be mean, but given her emotional instability, even pretend losing would probably bother her.
Its why I'd never make it as a wrestler; I don't like people being mad at me & I sometimes have a hard time accepting fantasy & reality. That may sound incredibly silly, but people can be like this.

I think Ronda Rousey personally insulted and slapped some people's mothers here.
What has she done YET to be this loathed? Lol

Imagine getting a big promotion at work, then some random person walks in and gets it. And that person was a Sandy Hook Truther.

It's more like you're a fry cook at Mcdonalds, then they hire Wolfgang Puck to be lead chef. Ronda hasn't even had a wrestling match yet. Just because she's a good fighter doesn't mean that's going to translate to a great pro-wrestling performance. Someone like a Kurt Angle worked because it turned out that he had a boatload of charisma in addition to wrestling skill. I'm not saying she's going to suck, but she's unproven as a pro-wrestler. And Kurt was trained for months and months by Tom Prichard and Dory Funk Jr probably the best trainers ever. Sara Del Ray saved the women's division but she's not at their level. The expectations for the wm Ronda match will be huge.

I'd rather see Trish full time. She was by far the most fluid of the veterans in the Rumble. I'd say Molly was right there with her and looked amazing. Probably because Molly has a hand on that new training school in MN.

But you're making weird, sweeping assumptions about a stranger's mental state and who they are. Yeah she had a rough time dealing with the losses of actual fights when the losses send her life and stardom plummeting, after being built up by her entourage, her camp, and the media as an unstoppable juggernaut. Just because having everything slip away from her took a big toll on her doesn't mean she's going to start crying when someone says she needs to lose a fake fight in exchange for thousands of dollars.

I like the idea that random celebrity athletes can just insert themselves into Wrestlemania, and even Mcmahons don't really have any clue.
"That's former Phoenix Suns point guard Kevin Johnson, what's he doin here?!"
"He's pointing at the Wrestlemania sign; does that mean he's goin to Wrestlemania?"
"KJ is goin to Wrestlemania!?"
"Well he did once dunk over Olajuwon"

This just seems like a train-wreck waiting to happen and will be on many peoples top 10 Worst list in years to come. I can see her being terribly cringey on the mic and I just don't see her being good in-ring with such a short time only training for Pro Wrestling. I think they are just gonna wing it off her name-sake and it's going to go all wrong, esp if she ends up having her debut on Wrestlemania, seems like a recipe for disaster. This situation isn't quite like her buddy Baszler where she wrestled independently for years after her WMMA career. Rousey is coming in pretty raw with high expectations and a higher profile.

"This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt," Rousey told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne of her decision to join WWE. "When I first met with Triple H, I told him, 'There are other things I can do with my time that'll make way more money, but I won't enjoy nearly as much.'" - Sounds like she'll be working the full route like the rest of em. She's young enough to do it. That's great to hear but this is the only thing she can do. Hollywood stopped calling her and her movies got cancelled. It's either this or opening a gym. True, but she has massive star appeal. Sure she's not unbeaten anymore but she has MASSIVE name recognition.
