If they are planning on the Womens Rumble being a yearly thing they are going to need to hire and build up a lot more female wrestlers over the next 12 Months.
Having the same legends show up on a yearly basis will get old quick.

How many women got their first wwe main event in that match? Off the top of my head my guess is 27 of them, 26 if you count NXT. Trish, Lita, and Sasha have all main evented. (and NXT Bayley) Depending on if you count myc, then Sane also me right?

Beck Lynch has also had a main event against Alexa Bliss on Smackdown. Naomi got one in against Charlotte last year as well.

Carmella, Tamina, and Natalya also had the MITB match that main evented SD. edit: McCool and Kelly Kelly had a main event for Smackdown once (the Laycool/Dolph vs Edge/Kelly Kelly match). Jacqueline was the main event on SD against Stephanie. Nia Jax, Dana Brooke, Mickie James, and Bayley was in the gauntlet match for Raw. Mandy Rose and Sonya was in the main event for Raw when it broke into a brawl and then the women's RR was announced. Beth Phoenix and Vickie Guerrero both were in the Main event for mixed tag matches (separate matches)

Thanks for doing this, some interesting stuff there, especially the time out of the ring stats.
Also, seeing this made me realise I wish it had been Nia to get most eliminations instead of McCool.

those time out of the ring stats... main reason why woman's rumble should be a one and done. The easy explanation for that is since it was their first rumble they didn't have any ring generals who could organize people just to get people to do boring kick-punch stuff that was off camera in the ring the way the men do or have people lay in the corners. Instead of doing the Roman rest they probably went under and outside the ringo out of fear in getting in the way of someone else's spot.

Having the same legends show up on a yearly basis will get old quick. They could just cut it down to 20 spots next year and have their women compete for spots like the men do.

I have to imagine Michelle McCool has re-signed? No way would they let her be that dominant and back to retirement she goes. I guess it was to invoke nostalgia for the way she was booked when she was active, so they wanted to relive that same booking in the Rumble.

As I aptly pointed out with my own thread, 11 Conway Pops, and I listed who got them too.

I guess it was to invoke nostalgia for the way she was booked when she was active, so they wanted to relive that same booking in the Rumble. Also, she was the third biggest woman in the match, besides Nia and Tamina, so she was more capable of tossing people out, and they wanted Nia to come in later so she didn't have to go too long.

Oh that brought back memories.. Michelle McCool the most unconvincing bad ass WWE ever attempted to push.

I am quire surprised at the Michelle McCool domination I cant see her being resigned though, she has two kids and seems to be another one happy out of the business.

Weird they'd have McCool with the prestigious amount of eliminations and not someone like Nia or maybe Sasha (though I guess Sasha did get the ironwoman title this year). Thanks for these stats, can't wait to see the stats begin to compile as years go by.

If I remember this thread exists next year and we have another women's rumble, I'll keep updating all of these stats.

Having the same legends show up on a yearly basis will get old quick. It would be nice if they did, but if they don’t there are a few options WWE can do. From kind of cool things like debuting indie darlings to cringeworthy stuff like a return of Santina and/or Hervana. Somewhere in the cool to cringe spectrum between those options you have someone pulling a Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack spot. Also celebs. I was kind of surprised Maria Menounos didn’t do a quick surprise entrance since she was there anyways and has wrestled. I believe she recently recovered or is in treatment for an illness though so I’m not that surprised.
