So, are we just gonna gloss over Tama cementing his #TeamDGAF status by throwing up a Too Sweet in this last episode? Matt’s reaction cracked me up The NJPW Bullet Club OGs can still throw up the sign and they do it all the time. It's only The Elite [Kenny, Cody, Hangman, Marty, Bucks] that cannot do it. I don't understand how the lawsuit worked out that way but whatever.

I don't understand how the lawsuit worked out that way but whatever. It never went to a lawsuit, just a cease and desist but essentially, if Bucks had the money to keep it going, WWE would be found to not actually own any rights to the hand signal since it’s owned by a university’s college football team. People from NJPW can do it because, well, WWE isn’t going to sue a whole company because there probably isn’t the same issues in Japan. So how it worked was “it was a power play by WWE that’s now being used in a storyline where there’s a split in the Bullet Club”.

Going by the way that show closed with it looking like a Golden Lovers vs Young Bucks match is on the way. Does this mean when it is all said and done Kenny will be the odd man out and will be leaving Bullet Club?

I have a theory that Bury the Drug Free Bear will eventually be revealed as CM Punk. Bury = WWE's treatment of Punk Drug Free = Straight Edge Bear = Chicago Bears or Chicago Cubs (a Cub is a young bear) The only downside I see to that is that Punk's demeanor fits more with LIJ.

He's not nearly enough of a nutjob to fit in with EVIL or Hiromu. If anything, being a miserable bastard who hates people as a whole makes him a candidate to be Minoru's protege (sorry, ZSJ) in Suzuki-Gun.

Bury = WWE's treatment of Punk Drug Free = Straight Edge Bear = Chicago Bears or Chicago Cubs (a Cub is a young bear) The only downside I see to that is that Punk's demeanor fits more with LIJ. I could see him fitting in with Bullet Club if the OGs win the war and regain control. The misanthropic "screw everybody I'm the best" CM Punk wouldn't be too dissimilar to AJ in Bullet Club. Basically, if the civil war ends with Tama pouncing and dumping both Cody & Kenny, I could see Punk as the stable Ace while Tama is the quiet leader ala AJ and Anderson. But that said, I don't think Punk's coming in, cool as it would be. Alternative suggestion is D-Bry given his love of BEARS, but again, I'd be surprised. Cody is such an utter bastard heel lately it's fantastic to watch, him being creepy with Kota and Marty's just weirded out was a great moment. I'm all the way on Team Omega- he might not have beat Okada for the belt, he might have made some mistakes and taken the group from their roots, but he's the best in the world, the best the Club have to offer, and has still been winning titles or recruiting champions (Scurll) aplenty as leader while raising the group's profile to new heights. Tama's not got what it takes in kayfabe to take the wheel, and Cody is just a sociopath out for himself who would destroy Bullet Club just to get to say he was its final leader. Omega is the top dog and they should follow his lead.

I think CM Punk fits Bullet Club better than the other factions. He doesn't have the mean streak for Suzuki-Gun, he's too much of a rogue for CHAOS, he's too goal-oriented for LIJ, Bullet Club is something he could alpha his way into leadership of and feel most at home among the other western talent.
In theory CM Punk could be a band-aid for the Bullet Club rift, have him be Cody's acquisition, which boosts everyone's morale and stock in Cody for a short while based on what a big get he is. Which would only work up until egos collide and make things worse.
As cool as Punk getting involved would be though, I could also see there being a risk of "forget everything! Punk's here!" when they have a really great thing going as it is.

For anyone who wants more details on the background of the Golden Lovers, this Twitter thread does a pretty damn solid job covering a lot of the story (Omega himself liked the thread). I just want Kota to join the Elite, and be the Bucks' oldest brother. (o_ _)o

If you told me that a Bullet Club angle would be the most exciting thing in wrestling, I would have laughed at you. There are so many moving parts that anything could go anywhere.

Poor Flip Gordon, almost being murder by Page. Fascinating stuff as usual. Wonder what Kenny and Kota were talking about at the end there.

It's official: Golden Lovers vs. The Young Bucks in Long Beach on 3/25.
New Japan (relatively quietly) announced this, White/Page for the US title and Liger/Mysterio.

I dunno if it has any relevance I can't watch it at the minute to check myself but was the film that Matt was watching on the plane the same as the film Kenny was watching in the previous episode?
Goes to say something when I was going to watch Elimination Chamber when I got in from work until I saw there was a new Being The Elite and I was like - priorities - need to watch BTE right now. Dunno whether that speaks more to the absolutely phenomenal job being done by The Elite or how little I care to watch Roman win another 'Mania title shot.

A very appropriate choice if the storyline goes the way some are thinking.

The more the lines get blurred between Cody/Kenny, the more I think everyone will say to hell with both of them and somehow leads to them reconciling and the core Elite staying intact.
