Caught this last night and yeah it was well worth the time.
Hollywood take note if you want to make a Tetris movie so badly THIS is what you should be focusing on.
A gripping drama about how a video game helped to bridge together two opposing cultures and all of the legal/political strife behind the ownership of said game.

I love Gaming Historian, he tells the strict history without taking sides or injecting his own personal politics into things. I love his videos.
Man, I think the Russians dodged 2 bullets by going with Nintendo instead of Maxwell or Stein. I feel like those guys were sort of low lifes at the end with the fraud and non payment problems. I'm really happy Pajitnov is now getting royalties for Tetris, he deserves them.

So how much difference is the Tengen version compared to the NES Version Beside different graphics and music, the only major difference was the Tengen version is 2 player while the nintendo version is only 1 player.

So how much difference is the Tengen version compared to the NES Version This video gives a good breakdown of the differences. Having played both, I much prefer the Tengen version (though both pale in comparison to the GameBoy version).

About a decade ago I bought Tetris for the iPod. Not the IPhone or itouch.. the video iPod 80gb Classic with that small square screen .. still have it plays well.
Anyway that version and later Apple iOS versions were released by EA. Not seen a recent version but I’m guess it’s full of micro transactions.
Edit: just checked the App Store. And yes there is micro transactions in a EA version of the game.. including in a paid version of the game.
