It's over. Give up on Reigns as the next one now and go in a different direction.

I'm sick of both of them but I'm tired of Monday Night Raw having a part-timer as Champion. Even more.

Happy as it's possibly Joe that beats him for the belt. WWE booking Joe to go over Brock? In all seriousness, that would be a better Mania match than Brock/Roman 2: Electric Boogaloo.

I'd be angry. Yes, I prefer Lesnar to Reigns ten fold. But to draw out this build for so long and then not deliver the conclusion would be indefensible. As previously mentioned, it's the same shit New Japan pulled this year.
Shit, or get off the pot.

I fail to care about anything Lesnar or Reigns(Mainly reigns) related anymore.
So probably a "eh,at least roman didn't win"

Some dude on Wreddit photoshopped this to show all of the character growth that has taken place since the last Mania these two faced off at.

I'd be happy as hell since that would mean it'd be going to someone else, ideally Strowman, instead of being wasted on Reigns.

Meh. I'm going to give zero f***s about that match anyway so I'll probably thinks it's a dumb booking decision but considering how little I care I doubt I'll manage to muster up any emotion whatsoever sans maybe vague surprise.

As previously mentioned, it's the same shit New Japan pulled this year. Shit, or get off the pot. Apples and oranges, imo. Since their resurgence, New Japan has been writing their story arcs across the span of 3-4 years. Just like Okada walking out of WK9 in tears while Tanahashi mocked him, Naito's development isn't over yet. Just like how we realized during the last stretch of Okada/Omega I that it had to be Okada to win. Okada is the ace, and despite Naito being more popular, or Omega having more international appeal, they need to rise to his level. Meanwhile Brock has simply trudged through the year facing miscellaneous "tough guy" challengers in a completely disjointed fashion, and it's never even felt like Roman has been evolving in the background. They're both the exact same characters they were 3-4 years ago, having simply won more Championship gold since. There's no real intrigue or emotional stake in this story, which is too bad.

I can say similar things about New Japan. It's a matter of perspective.

Either scream at my television, or sigh in resignation. No inbetween. The finak decision depends on how much more Brock manages to frustrate me with his (semi) existence before Mania.

I won't start a separate thread, but I would be more interested to know....

First thought "They'll play Roman as the sympathetic underdog who is also a killing machine and murders the roster to prove he is on Brock's level for corronation number 207", my second thought "what the hell was the point of the match to begin with, since they sacrificed everyone to Roman to sacrifice Roman to Brock".

I’m of the mind that, much like Alien vs Predator, whoever wins, we lose.
