Nope. Jinder's going to have a full stable of these dudes including Shera which has been rumored for a while now. Only one of them will be the breakout star as the others stay midcarders, tag guys and fall guys. If anything the more Indian stars that get called up the higher chance Jinder has at becoming champion again because he'll have so many goons to get hit instead of him. This dude Shera might be the Batista to Jinder's HHH if the company can turn him into something. Jinder would be glad to help someone elevate. He’s got enough for a proper Punjabi Ministry if he wanted it. The Singh Brothers, Shera, the other Indian dudes at the Performance Center, the big woman from the Mae Young Classic... and Khali as the Greater/Higher Power. Yep. This company's signing all these Indians and everything. Vince will undoubtedly put them into a stable because that's the kind of guy he is. God forbid if he let them not interact.

Not a bad signing at all honestly. He’s got good size and charisma, and I can’t imagine they’ve got too too much invested in him. I think he’s got enough there for them to give him a shot.

I'm guessing Vince's not learned from the India experiment he tried with Mahal so he will keep hiring talenrs frpm india and hopes to break into this elusive Indian market that has not proven to anybody any luck

Wonder if they will give him a title run in a few years. Laugh now, but let's see how polished he is in a year or so.

Of course what kind of luck that is, is up for debate. The recent failure in India for WWE I think falls more on WWE's booking of Jinder as well as him not really having a connection to India.

Don't f***ing scare me like that ever again Honestly, I'm not even commenting on the Shera thing, as the only things I knew about the guy is that he: was in TNA, kind of sucked in the ring, and had a cute little dance that TNA tried to get over. I basically just posted a reply to this to give props to the poster for using a NIGHTMARE CITY pic. Hamburger Head Zombies FOREVER!!!

I wish him the best of luck. NXT is basically gonna have to rebuild the guy from the ground-up, work-wise, but he's got a bizarre likeability, so he could do well.

Not only that, but even though Shera was awful...when you remember Shera's lack of training, he wasn't bad for a guy who had never really been trained. He wasn't GOOD, but he could have been a LOT WORSE considering how little training he had. Shera is the ultimate low-risk high reward guy: If he doesn't pan out, WWE won't lose much- but there's just enough there in his size, charisma, and lack of training-to-ability he puts out so that if Shera can be trained well, WWE might actually have something there.

Unlike Jinder I actually can see this Shera experiment getting over. At least they could make him an outright national hero babyface rather than Jinder's smarmy heel that tried to stoke the fires of nationalism but failed.

I hope his gimmick is “Low Risk” Shera where he busts out moves like the first rope double axe handle and a knee drop done gingerly from a standing position.

You know that image of Reigns lying in the ring at Survivor Series 2015 after Sheamus cashed MITB on him?
That is me right now.

The most shocking thing about this thread is learning Mahabali Shera isn't the dude's real name.

I want to hunt down the OP of that thread last week. The most shocking thing about this thread is learning Mahabali Shera isn't the dude's real name. Is Singh like the Smith, Nguyen, Park, etc of India?
