Good god. They waited five years between Spider Man 3 and Amazing Spider Man and that was nowhere near enough time to let the franchise breathe. This one has a spin off that hasn’t even come Out yet and they’re planning the reboot? Jesus. Come up with some new f***ing ideas already. No foreign robot film you can remake instead?

The new ones better have more Pretenders, Headmasters and that trio that formed together into one camera.

Transformers should be the easiest franchise to make good, fun movies for but somehow Bay kept churning out shit.

Wile I agree 2 sucks always did like The Forrest Battle Scene
Would say 1 and 3 are the only decent ones. Once the Battle of Chicago starts thats where DOTM gets good

I just hope the designs don't look too busy and overly complicated like the Bayformers. I know people like to say that the original designs were too "blocky" and "unrealistic", but other incarnations have been able to pull off realistic looking designs while keeping The Transformers recognizable.

I know people like to say that the original designs were too "blocky" and "unrealistic", but other incarnations have been able to pull off realistic looking designs while keeping The Transformers recognizable. The War for Cybertron designs would work perfectly well. Or even some of the later G1 designs that were less blocky - Galvatron, Scourge, Cyclonus, Hot Rod, Kup, etc. Trust me Hasbro could have done worse then with Bay That's not exactly a glowing recommendation. They could have done better too, and it's really just the low expectations from casual audiences that kept these crapfests making money.

I did enjoy Transformers 1-3. The first Transformers film actually felt like a Transformers story to me and there's a certain charm to it since it's the first time we see them in live action. What's the point of rebooting it if the Bumblebee prequel film is coming out soon?
