With upcoming movie about Stan Laurel's and Oliver Hardy's later years and a possible train wreck of a Freddie Mercury biopic that most likely will focus more on Brian May and Roger Taylor.
What movies you'd like to see, based on history of a person?
I'd love to see a movie about Disney's 9 old men, animated of course.. using their respective styles. (Imagine amazingly articulated Milt Kahl throwing a nameless inbetweener out of his studio, who then gets hit by a check board or Ollie Johnston and Ward Kimball introducing train sets to Walt.)
There's also rumors of Moomin creator Tove Jansson getting a biopic made of her, seeing how finnish movie makers treated Tom of Finland's biopic, i'm not holding my breath.
what examples do you guys have?

Vince McMahon - an accurate one not a wwe movie done one I'd like to see the WWE approved one. It would be hilarious. a story of a young man who bought his father's failing wrestling business and took over those meanie territorial wrestling promotions by giving their wrestlers a better home. while his childhood bully Millionaire Ted got into wrestling business just to bully him more

Harry Truman (A better one than the Gary Sinise tv movie.) There's Give 'em Hell, Harry!, but that's not a traditional movie.

A WWE Vince movie would be amazing. It would be just like “A Burns For All Seasons” except that Vince would have a 3 foot penis.

A Gene Roddenberry biopic would be interesting, but truth be told my unrealistic ideal film would be a comedy-drama about Star Trek TOS's production featuring all the big players in the three year run: Roddenberry, Gene L. Coon, D.C. Fontana, Herb Solow, John Meredyth Lucas, Fred Freiberger, etc. Perhaps with Gene as the decoy protagonist at first before the movie shifts to Robert Justman as the central viewpoint character watching the series rise, and departing when witnessing its fall circa season 3.

The Life of Hulk Hogan. Written and Produced by Hulk Hogan. That'd be unwatchable mess "This blonde guy with a goatee came in.. saying "Ye yeaaah! would you like to play bass for our band? Ye Yeah!" he was accompanied by this small child carrying drumsticks, brother"

I want a biopic of Vince McMahon made outside of WWE's umbrella by someone who doesn't have an axe to grind. So an even handed but warts-and-all sort of thing.

Pleasantly surprised by the amount of Vince McMahon mentions. I would too. However, I do think one of his buddy Donald J Trump would also be mighty interesting after he finishes whatever he is doing right now.

A Stan Lee biopic would be interesting to see. Even better, maybe a movie about the rise of Marvel Comics in general (a DC one would also be welcome).
