Been waiting on one on H.H Holmes. There's been one planned in developmental hell for years now, set up with Leo to play him.

speaking of Hogan. i wonder if they'll eventually do a biopic of Metallica.
I'd imagine firing of Mustaine (and birth of megadeth and him cloning himself in a psychiatric ward), Death of Cliff, James's Alcoholism and Lars doing dumb stuff should make for a good story

Vince McMahon - an accurate one not a wwe movie done one I'd like to see the WWE approved one. It would be hilarious. I mentioned this over in the WWE forum a week or two ago, but I would love to see a Hulk Hogan biopic, produced by the man himself, just to see how off-the-wall insane it'd be.

This-I was hoping that Dan Aykroyd and John’s friends and family would make one in response to Wired-I’m shocked they still haven’t

The Mamas and The Papas. They seamed so bright and cheerful and chill, but the truth of the band was like watching a scatter bomb destroy a whole village in slow motion.

An actual biopic of Hunter S. Thompson. His period riding with the Hells Angels would probably be interesting enough.

Jack Johnson. The flamboyant give no f***s boxer of the early 20th I saw a movie about him in the 80s with James Earl Jones playing JJ. Was pretty good. ------------ A biopic I would love to see would be a big epic Napoleon flick. We really have never seen one with a decent Hollywood budget and so forth. But I bet the failed project by Kubrick would have been fantastic.

I want a biopic of Vince McMahon made outside of WWE's umbrella by someone who doesn't have an axe to grind. So an even handed but warts-and-all sort of thing. I think the only way you could really do it is with him played by several actors as different interpretations. Even people who have known him for decades have very different takes on who he is as a person, it seems like. He's petty as hell, and also the guy who, sight unseen, told Foley's publisher to print whatever Mick said about him because, "if that's how he feels, that's how he feels". Granted, most of it was fairly positive, but Vince didn't know that, and Mick did razz him over some questionable practices, along with saying in his second book that Vince effectively has few friends since most people he's friends with are on his payroll. Shit, Punk's said a lot of very critical things about him, but also seems to see him as someone he has a lot in common with, such as freakish sleeping schedules, and who he has a lot of respect for. I feel like any solid biopic about Vince would have to present the image of a man who is either a mess of contradictions, or who people project part of themselves onto. We don't really have that much in the way of definite facts on Vince. We know that he pretty much didn't meet Vince Sr. until he was in his teens, and I guess his brother Rod by extension. We know that he lived in the South with his mom and hated it, and that his homelife was pretty awful. (He was sexually abused by an older woman, though I think he maintained it was not his mom who did it, and his mom was with a physically abusive guy). Vince would later promote shows after joining with his father, learning the business, and Vince Sr. cautioned him that he would be likely killed if he challenged the territories and went national. That's really most of all we know about the guy that he's corroborated, that I'm aware of.

The movie is just exploitative trash.

Maybe not a biopic but an event with a central character...
In 1976, Albert Spagiarri orchestrated a massive bank robbery by hiring a team that dug into the vault through the city's water drainage system and stole an incalculable amount of money and loot... incalculable because the items belonged to members of the underworld and much was "unreported". The final three days of the dig, Spagiarri had the team working straight through, hired a caterer and a couple of prostitutes to keep the men satisfied. They almost didn't make it out because of a massive rainstorm that almost flooded the sewers.
They initially escaped but eventually most were caught. Spagiarri was tried and convicted, but escaped one day while visiting the judge under the pretense of revealing how he pulled off the crime... and was never seen again.
EDIT: happened in Nice, France.
