I remember thinking as a kid that Tom Anderson and Hank Hill were the same person and that King of the Hill was in the past and Tom was just an older Hank.

My uncle used to let me sneak watch B&B when he'd babysit me around 7-8, haha. I loved it, and a lot of the humor/satire holds up still. I liked the reboot they did in 2011 or so, too.

While watching Winger:
Beavis: "These guys live on the edge. " Butt-Head: "Yea...the edge of wuss cliff!"

I still remember watching this for the first time and I was literally gasping for air from laughing so hard. Absolutely one of the best shows of all time. I will say though looking back that the video choices were always so cynical. Most of the artists they buried were low hanging fruit in the first place. Note that they never skewered anyone that MTV was actively pushing at the time, which would have made it a far more subversive show. I mean would these two small town redneck metalheads really be into Radiohead?

My favorite part of being a teenager in the mid-90s. Wish I could find a playlist with all of these clips.

"F***" is censored, but I'll still note the language warning if it's needed.

This one always gets me for some reason. Butt-Head’s disgusted reaction and mocking of the chorus are hilarious.

This has always been my favourite Beavis and Butthead moment. One of many great moments that involved Van Driessen

Also, when it comes to the episodes themselves, I actually prefer the more "cartoony" animation of the early episodes? They seemed to do more with the animation, lots of that squash and stretch-type animation (episodes like Sick and Blood Drive and Home Improvement wouldnt be as good with the more "realistic" style they later used IMO).

The one episode of the revival where they tried to be Asian massage guys at the mall had me literally in tears. I was actively gasping for air.
I did recall them burying The Toadies (thankfully), and that was one of the few times they went after someone who actually was getting current MTV rotation. I have not seen the Silverchair one before, but after watching it on here I was rolling. I dunno if they made fun of Silverchair as much as they riffed on Boston's "More Than a Feeling" and general goofiness. Besides, it's not like The Toadies were all THAT popular, so crapping on them was a fairly safe thing to do.
I think they also crapped on Korn at one point, but I think that was before Korn started getting a push.
