Part one of that cover of superheros it brought up the EC Comics to me Cool. In that book they do talk about Moon Girl. Which was EC's big hit before the Tales from the Crypt series started. IIRC the first appearance of the Crypt Keeper was in the Moon Girl comic.

Cool. I got a couple of the trades that Dark Horse put out. I need to get those. I got a few of the Russ Cochran EC reprints from the early to mid 90s. I love those so much. You got two reprinted EC comics. And it was only 2 bucks. I am guessing they didn't sell well, cause none of the titles lasted more than 2 years. If you enjoy the EC horror stuff be sure to check out Creepy and Eerie. They were b/w magazine sized comics. Started a few years after EC went under. And they are some of the best horror comics I have ever read. Dark Horse has been putting out archives of Creepy and Eerie.

Might have to be on the look out. Still need to finish the rest of the Tales from the Crypt ones that Dark Horse put out along with the only lines EC had at the time. Just wish I could find them cheaper then $24-30 at piece. Wish my local Half Price books had them so I could get rid of the shipping cost Try either Abebooks.com or Instocktrades.com. I use both often to get comic trades/hardcovers. And found some great deals.

The twist in the stories are great too Yep the O Henry style twists at the end were usually pretty fun. The EC Science Fiction titles were good. And the EC war titles are great. Pretty much most of the comics that EC put out after Tales from the Crypt started are worth reading.

Right now uploading 3 reviews of the 80s comic magazine Amazing Heroes. Normally I upload my new vids/reviews on Thursday. Cause Thursday is the one day a week I get the house to myself. But this evening had the house to myself and got a bunch of stuff filmed. Since we have been talking about EC comics I am tempted to dig out the reprint issues I got and do reviews of them.
Normally I do not plan out what reviews I doing next. I just look around my room and grab whatever catches my eyes.
I am not posting every review here. Mostly cause some of the stuff I cover, well during my reviews I will talk about stuff that isn't allowed here.
Hope you are enjoying them.

If you do the EC Comics I like to see which ones are are in the trades.
The dark horse trade that I have had one story where a lady was married 5 times but she killed her husband every time thanks to how her mom raised her.
I would guess you would see how the revenge by them would fill out.
HBO should have done that one

Thanks for the praise sir. It might be a bit before I do any EC comic reviews. I first gotta find the box I got them all in. And I am not sure which of the many comic book longboxes my EC stuff is in.

That's cool No rush. Like with The Star Wars Kenner fan from the other thread I always like seeing new people talking about stuff that I like Cool. The only thing I know for sure is most Thursdays I will have at least 2 video reviews of VHS from my collection. The other reviews I just do when something catches my eye. Like the three issues of Amazing Heroes I did tonight. I never see much talk about that magazine online. And in my eyes it was the best comic book magazine for people that enjoy superhero comics. Sucks that when Wizard started it killed the sales of Amazing Heroes. But that seems to be because by the early 90s you had a bunch of comic fans that cared more about how much their comics were worth than the stories and art contained in the comics. Wizard with it's price guide and focus on what comic would be the new hot comic was exactly what the comic speculators were wanting. Were as a magazine like Amazing Heroes that didn't have a price guide and was focused more on quality stories and art and the history of comics was something the speculators didn't need. I am hoping to find more late 70s thru mid 80s Apter mags to review. It is always fun to flip thru them and see all the old ads and articles on wrestlers that are forgotten by lots of the modern wrestling fans.

The apter Mags that I have are from 89-95 period I would love to find the 80-88 period Before tonight never really heard of Amazing Heroes. My brother was big into Wizard wish I kept them. One of my favorite issues was when the 98 Godzilla movie came out they had bout 5-10 pages talking about the old movies Yea it seems that Amazing Heroes is forgotten. I know back in the 80s it was fairly popular. IIRC it was the best selling of the big three comic mags. I got a handful of issues of Wizard. Mostly from the first 2 years of the run. Might dig them out and do some reviews. Also got a bunch of issues of Hero Illustrated. Do you remember that magazine?

Had pretty much every Apter mag from 1984 until 1993. Then in the late 90s when the wrestling boom was happening I sold them all off to a buddy. Got a decent amount of money for them. But now am kicking myself for selling them. The three issues I have done videos on I got at a local indy show. They came from former WWE ref Wes Adam's personal collection. He had been trying to sell them for years. Finally at a Powerslam show that happened near my birthday Wes cut me a deal and I got all three for extremely cheap.
