AAF haven't made the official hint or announcement yet but looks like San Deigo is getting a team and Mike Martz is the coach. Which just talked about this if St. Louis who would coach and he was the name that came up. Source. linkSt. Louis probably wouldn’t want Martz back anyway. He got kinda exposed once Warner left. He made something out of nothing in Bulger, but the scheme just got consistently worse/more figured out. Kind of mixed. He would be dealing with a whole lot of players as well coaches who are all NOT NFL formers and players. So many yes short term he could be fine The biggest issue he had with the Rams yes it got worst but so did the talent, because keep in mind the ownership was in shambles when Frontier passed. Nobody else wanted to run the team and spend YEARS before selling it. With that they didn't invest a ton on the team. I mean look at the offense. Steven Jackson was all they had once Bruce and Holt moved on which wasn't long after Jackson got drafted. Martz was fired but nobody followed him did better compared to his last year until Fisher one almost playoff appearance that wasn't a great record and overall in a terrible year for the whole division. All and all I don't blame Mike FULLY but yes some of it. Now the question would be IF and we haven't heard nothing yet IF St. Louis got the it appears the last team, WHO would coach it because the trend been someone with some kind of link to the city. Martz is from San Deigo which was the reason for this. Keep in mind the AAF haven't made anything official yet.

Actually, Birmingham has had a team in multiple leagues over the years: WFL: Americans/Vulcans USFL: Stallions WLAF (precursor to NFL Europe): Fire XFL: Bolts They have always been shafted with the NFL, though, so glad they got a team. Hope the last one is in the Bay Area.

As much as I want St. Louis (So I have a team) I think it will be down to them or San Antonio With San Antonio the most likely because I can't see Texas not having a team.

So in the first season, all teams are going to be south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

So in the first season, all teams are going to be south of the Mason-Dixon Line. I think the logic is to eliminate cold weather as a variable for the first month or so. Except for Salt Lake City.

The final team is San Antonio. St. Louis almost had it but scheduling issues in the month of Feb messed it up. The people that run the Dome claimed no weekends in Feb where open but I see nothing on what would be week 2 of the season and week four. Rumors that former Rams WR Issac Bruce was going to coach it.

Does this mean the return of those sweet 90s starter jackets in the Merchandise stands too? Every 90s kid had one.

One thing I hope for, as previously stated, is that the teams have their own identities.
It'd be hard to root for the Atlanta Alliance as they take on the Birmingham Alliance.

Those team names are quarter-assed at best.

Those team names are quarter-assed at best. I would have embraced minor league baseball wackiness.

This is the fun of anticipating a new team or league: speculating on the name, logo and colors, designing what you want (if you can draw), seeing the official reveal as having nothing close to what you want, and declaring how badly it sucks.
