I didn’t care for the crossover at the beginning. I liked the shows being two separate entities held together by a few common threads. But the beginning of this episode should have been included in some of the later episodes of the main show the last few weeks. Maybe it would’ve meant more to see all those characters pleading with Morgan if there’d have been a few weeks between the two episodes too. I just saw Rick win that emotional war. I'd rather it sink in for a whole before I saw him.
Once they got passed that though I thought the episode was pretty awesome. Bad idea putting it right after the main show because it showed how much better Feath the Walking Dead has become.
Not sure how I feel about Morgan on the show. He'd kinda become played out but maybe a new environment will freshen him up. And I didn't really care for the two year time-skip but the initial chaos of the breakout had already set in with Fear the Walking Dead already. Clint Eastwood was pretty cool.
Unlike the Walking Dead I really want to see where this one goes and I'm looking forward to next weeks episode.

I don't like that they got Fear and Walking Dead on the same timeline with Fear being somewhat in front of them now. However, the show is continuing it's great pace from last year and is on a stride that people hoped for when this spin off was announced In regards to Morgan, they probably should have killed his character off awhile back as he's really outlived his usefulness but this is more of the creators trying to make up for lost time after we didn't get Morgan as a full time character for years. A part of me still wanted Abraham with the Fear crew so they would still be at least a year behind the main show but as of right now i'm on board with whatever they are doing Aren't we supposed to get a crossover episode between the two unless they considered these cameos today the crossover

And I really don't see how. They never gave a timeframe but Morgan had to be walking for at least three weeks to get to where he is now. Hopefully what was at the beginning of this weeks episode is it and maybe a mention here and there. But the show was strong enough to hold it's own. I think they just added Morgan to boost ratings. As good as Fear the Walking Dead is people never really seemed to warm up to it very much. A lot wrote it off and never even bothered watching the last few seasons. But I've enjoyed it more than the main show since it started. I'm with you on everything with the time-skip. I was hoping to see Abraham too. Unless they go batshit crazy and time skip all over the place going back and forth. That could work. If Madisons group was one that met up with Abraham, Rosita and Eugene. I have high hopes for this season.

I have high hopes for this season. I think with Fear it's the fact it was from the beginning of the outbreak that drew people in but the characters were unlikable. I thought Season 1 was a good opening season while Season 2 fell off a cliff and just hit all the wrong notes. Season 3 put it back on path and was their best season overall so I can understand wanting to add a current character to the roster but I feel like it took some of their uniqueness away They could have really even added Morgan during his crazy period after Duane died and still kept the show away from the main storyline. I feel like they sort of took away some "spice" from Madison and the kids because after the way last season ended they will now fill in the gaps this season of essentially a 2 year timeline which is a lot in Walking Dead universe However, with all that said i'm glad they did take Morgan away from his camp and gave them their own thing. Fear still has that freshness in regards to them being able to kill off characters that The Walking Dead has shied away from. Madison has also become a very decent lead and a different take from Rick which is needed

I dunno, I guess I've watched too much TV in my life but I saw through that little girl from the first second that she wouldn't say what happened to her family.
Tonights was an entertaining enough episode. It laid the groundwork a season premier usually does, except it was episode two. I guess we'll be getting some time jumps this season leading to some big reveal at the end that ties it all together.
I'm gonna place my early bet on it looking like Madison dies because of these "Vultures" but she doesn't. Morgan, Clint Eastwood and hot short-haired girl will meet up with her whenever this storyline ends. But I bet she (Madison) is a wreck because of this Vulture group.

IMO it would be a big mistake to go from Madison as the main character to Morgan moving forward

If nothing else, Fear has way more balls than TWD for killing off a main character like that in the third episode.

Nick was the highlight of the show for me so this sucks. But I didn’t like Angry Nick we’d been seeing. Obviously he’ll still be on all season in the flashback scenes but him dying upset me more than Carl or Glenn.

Really strong start to the season. 3 really good episodes and I like the 2 new characters.
Gonna miss Nick, he was my fav character. He was a really interesting character.
If Strand gets killed too I'll be pissed.

Is it just me or has this show took a huge leap in quality?
Before it was alright, a decent enough show but nothing great.
This season has been excellent. The latest episode was great. Really strong episode.
I liked the twist that they all regretted staying and that they should have done the selfish thing and left when they could.

It definitely jumped in quality, the first couple of seasons I didn't care so much for it but after Season 3 it has me interested since. Especially how they lost the stadium and where's Madison?

I really liked this weeks episode. I love the grainy video camera shots. The guy who plays Strand is a great f***ing actor.

On thing I loved, those zombies in the hole on the water slide.
That was a great visual and a really tense scene.
