it works for PCW, smaller venue is easier to fill and makes it seem like they are popular. they're rebuilding the company so have to start small to grow organically instead of pulling a 5* wrestling (and tna of the past.) booking massive arenas and not filling them. I don't think they can even fill small venues. They had to pay non union actors to pose as fans after all.

They should bring back James Storm just for this. So he can brawl with the spectators.

So I don't watch TNA. In Ireland we never had channels that carried it. But I've seen bits and pieces over the years. Admittedly not much since the pre-Hogan era.
But I live in Toronto now so I thought f*** it I'll find out where it is. Maybe it'll be a laugh (local shows in Toronto are awesome!) So I google it and the first link is their own site, I clicked it...it's down for maintenance...for about an hour now at least. I mean come on dudes, meet me half way here.

Whatever they do is don’t do a Blues Brothers and just assume the drinks are free without asking first. Could bankrupt the company

Well props to TNA for making a good choice for a chance.
I can personally say that its a awesome venue as I went there to see Gojira play live a couple of years ago.

I misread the thread as Slammiversary will take place in a Canadian strip club. no promotion with name value is going to run a strip club, cause they're afraid of someone try to outdo CM Punk:

Well props to TNA for making a good choice for a chance. I can personally say that its a awesome venue as I went there to see Gojira play live a couple of years ago. As much flak a we give TNA/Impact-and they certainly deserve it-this is a better decision than trying to book arenas beyond their scope where they will end up with images of the venue being less than half full. They are really just a slightly more prominent Indy fed now, and their prominence is based purely on the fact that over a decade ago they were briefly the #2 promotion in the United States. You could call this an example fo them deciding to work within their means for a change.

Am imagining it will look pretty good when full. How high is the ceiling ? hopefully higher than the venue I saw Impact run a few house shows around here... a guy standing on the top turnbuckle was pretty much in the lighting rig...

I went there on Saturday to celebrate a birthday. Cool looking venue with the lights. I asked the lady about it and she said "Yeah wrestling here is in July will be on TV", so they are promoting it properly.
Think some of the venues ECW did in 1999/2000.
