Is it me or does the singing in that trailer remind you have something out of a teaser for a horror movie? I think this will be stunningly "meh" just like the live action version of Beauty And The Beast. I am kind of curious to see if they do the Pink Elephants On Parade nightmare sequence, though. There's a glimpse of a pink elephant in the trailer. Didn't see Timothy or the crows, though. |

Looks okay. Definitely a heart-string tugger. Day after my birthday, I'll probably watch it. Keaton seems promising. And for being Burton it looks..good. Also damn, I'm mad jelly of Colin Farrell, guy's barely aged.

File this one away right alongside "Christopher Robin" as a movie that I really want to see but have no desire for the emotional devastation that it'll invariably cause.

Christopher Robin was kind of sobering now that you mention it. I liked it, enough funny stuff for kids, but it is a bit of a downer. |

Nice little reference to Timothy in that trailer. I saw a tweet about Timothy yesterday and let's just say the tweeter was NOT happy for........well, a reason.   (Note what color the mouse is here, and then the color of the mouse in the original movie. Yeah, that was the reason.) |

5 year old me was extremely disturbed by pink elephants on parade. 37 year old me has zero desire to see a live action version

Honestly every single time I see something from one of these live-action Disney remakes I always think it feels more like a parody of them than the real thing.

Looks good. I got really nostalgic m, because watching Dumbo is like one of those pre-memories for me that like you barely remember. I know when I was like 3 and 4 I loved the movie and watched it a lot, but I don’t REALLY remember watching it. And for some reason I never went back to it when I got older and developed more.
