God, that nickname was awful, Mark sure had to put up with a lot of shit didn't he? From all accounts Henry came up with that himself because Gorillas are strong beasts. He didn't think about the racist connotations. The WWE were always saying he was self proclaimed silverback for that reason. I just imagine a mostly white staff not wanting to be the one to tell him because it would be too awkward a conversation. "Really? That's he wants as a nickname?" "Do we tell him? ..... "Just call him the self-proclaimed silverback"

Sasha Banks’
Doesn’t that nickname kinda imply she’s the best and so super awesome etc? If that’s so...then why does she come off as a cocky loser for? Lol.
Dean Ambrose’s
What the hell is so crazy about him? He’s a pretty lame lunatic if you ask me.
Those two really come to mind.

Obviously you can like whoever you want but I'm not sure you can criticise Jeff's weird dance moves for being awkward and then praise Mick Jagger's! Haha. Ah, I mentioned dance moves more by way of analogy rather than one to one comparison . I meant Mick's "swagger". I'd maybe say Bowie too, someone who oozed confidence.

Mr No Days Off Darren Young. Never a more unfitting nickname.

I think Jeff is undeniably charismatic but it's more of a physical charisma than a verbal one. The fact he got so insanely popular in spite of the fact he's not a good talker is testament to that. I tried to be relatively careful in phrasing to convey that it's just my opinion. I don't really get physical charisma from him either. When I think of physical charisma, I think of Mick Jagger, Prince, maybe Javier Bardem, I dunno. Hardy's physical presence has always put me in mind of the ever so slightly unwieldy dance moves of an awkward gangly teenager drinking at a party for the first time. I'm gonna throw another name in here so as not to double post: "The Animal" Batista. How is he any more anaimalistic than anyone else? In looking for fodder for this thread I came across WWE's list of the 25 best nicknames, here's their justification of "The Animal" So....uh....he's noisy and....uh....has four limbs....also he's way better than Ricky Steamboat so there. And to top it all off, they used to have a Weasel call the action with a Gorilla!

Dude was just a brick shithouse of intensity and power.

I always thought "Eater of Worlds" was a reference to It, which works given that Wyatt's gimmick is essentially an amalgam of various horror movie tropes/characters.
Anyway, "The Architect" really doesn't fit Rollins anymore, especially given the last plan he implemented ended with Triple H beating the living shit out of him.

The Bionic Redneck for Stone Cold Silverback for Mark Henry And one ive always found odd is "The Nature Boy" what does that mean? He doesnt come to the ring with plants or animals and he is no boy. Why is he Nature? You see, he pulls the blinds, then he takes his clothes off, to dance around the house. *waits for maybe four people at best to get that*

Ambrose should be nicknamed Deluded to have it fit the character. Normal fella thinking he's so crazy and that comb over isn't fooling anyone either.
