Oh for f**k sake, I just finished catching up on 99 after a break and remembered how freaking funny it was AND literally started Last Man on Earth at the beginning today to watch because my wife loves it. I caught an episode she watched the other day and it's also pretty damn good.

There you go. Basically the code to embed tweets is: [ twitter url=" twitter http address that ends in numbers " ] without the spaces. For example, this embed code looks like [ twitter url="https://twitter.com/bxtemxn/status/994702423133425665" ] with out the spaces between the [ and ]s

One of the few shows I watched regularly. I hope it can have a proper finale of some sort

Eventually, all that will be left on Fox are cockroaches and the Simpsons.

And apparently it's being cancelled because Fox picked up Tim Allen's Last Man Standing? Which...is a problem for reasons that are not allowed on this board. Glad Tim is getting another shot after unfairly being canned

From what I understand Fox makes no money from Brooklyn 99's streaming viewership so TV ads are the only way they make money off the show. Given the low ratings (Which FOX sabotaged to an extent) it makes some financial sense to move on to either a higher drawing show, or a show they actually own.

And this is why noone likes networks anymore. Honestly can anytone name a stupider cancellation than this since Firefly? Young Justice and a lot of the DC animated shows that made way for you know what. Actually, I bet there's a ton more Cartoon Network examples.

One of the best shows to come out of the US in the last few decades, and pretty much the only thing I watch on Netflix regularly. I hope they pick it up, because this should not be ending now. Especially with Rosa's recent character development. I'd be really surprised if Netflix or Hulu didn't pick it up, considering that's where most of B99's viewership was.

And this is why noone likes networks anymore. Honestly can anytone name a stupider cancellation than this since Firefly? Nothing, and I mean nothing, was a dumber cancellation than Angel. For those that don't know, it was more or less a foregone conclusion that the WB was likely going to pick it up for a 6th season, but Joss Whedon was tired of making his staff wait for confirmation as it meant that people were passing up opportunities during TV's pilot season in favor of their current show, which really sucks when you don't know for certain if your current show will stay on the air. Since Whedon was pretty sure the show would get renewed, he met with a WB executive to get a confirmation that the show would get renewed so he could settle the nerves of his crew. The executive did not like getting put on the spot and instead cancelled the show right then and there. Said executive shortly admitted that it was a mistake, but Whedon had already given his staff the news, planned out the show's finale, and people were soliciting and accepting new jobs for the next season. That's right. It seemed such a sure thing that the show would get renewed that Whedon felt comfortable asking for an early confirmation and got cancelled out of spite for daring to ask. This is why hit shows get renewed for multiple seasons now. Everyone involved wants to avoid this stupidity and give cast and crew the comfort of job security that Whedon tried to get for his staff.

Especially with Rosa's recent character development. I'd be really surprised if Netflix or Hulu didn't pick it up, considering that's where most of B99's viewership was. Rumours are right now that Hulu and Universal Television are very much interested in starting primary talks to revive along with two unnamed streaming services (which, let’s be honest, are probably Netflix and Amazon) also looking into things.
