You know it's weird, I grew up with the Attitude Era/tail end of NWO/WCW and I'm not sure how many wrestlers from that time, or from earlier stuff I've gone back and watched, I'll put down. Let's see, no particular order.
Randy Savage (grew up with him in WCW but grew to adore him through dvds and the network)
Eddie Guerrero
AJ Styles
Chris Jericho
Daniel Bryan
CM Punk
The Rock
Kurt Angle
Edge
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Man there's like a whole decade of wrestlers I was not a huge fan of it looks like.

of course ther eis two people in there(MVP and Jack) that stands out like a sore thumb, but I always saw great potential on those two.

I'm going to include people mostly known from WCW because they're part of WWE now. Deal with it.
1. The Rock 2. Daniel Bryan 3. Sting 4. Stone Cold 5. Shawn Michaels 6. Triple H 7. Goldberg 8. Bret Hart 9. Macho Man 10. Eddie Guerrero
Honorable mentions to AJ Styles, CM Punk, Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page, Batista (strictly as a douchey heel), Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, and Mick Foley.

The early to mid 90s were my formative years as a fan, many names on the list show this. I've not based this on my modern day favourites, this is a list of the people who drew me in and kept me in.
1. Hulk Hogan 2. Randy Savage 3. The Ultimate Warrior 4. Bret Hart 5. Owen Hart 6. Shawn Michaels 7. Mick Foley 8. The Rock 9. Steve Austin 10. The Undertaker
Honorable mentions: Roddy Piper, Chris Jericho, Jerry Lawler, Bobby Heenan, Kurt Angle, Triple H, Mr. Perfect, The British Bulldog, Goldust, The Big Bossman, Yokozuna, Rob Van Dam
Taking a look at my choices,
It all starts with Hogan! Hulk Hogan was the guy who drew me into wrestling in 1991. Fast forward to a few years down the line and it was the Bret Hart/Owen Hart feud that made me realise that wrestling wasn't just going to be a passing hobby that I'd grow out of. It was during that feud in 1994 when I realised that Wrestling would be with me in some form or another for the remainder of my life.
Behind Hogan in 1991, you had the Warrior and Savage. The first Wrestlemania I ever saw was 7. The retirement match between the two was a perfect introduction to not just those two characters, but to everything that wrestling could be. That match is still one of my all time favourites.
In early 1991, the new guy on the scene was the Undertaker. I've more or less watched his entire WWF career in real time. So many of my favourite wrestling moments involve the Undertaker.
From 1996 until his first retirement in 1998, Shawn Michaels was my favourite wrestler. I'd watched his progression from a babyface Rocker, into the heel HBK persona that eventually became a main-eventer. The conclusion to the Wrestlemania 12 Iron Man Match with Bret is the first time I can remember jumping up out of my seat and totally marking out. I was a fan of Bret, but I really wanted Shawn to win that match and his first Heavyweight Championship!
The Rock, Stone Cold and Mick Foley (the Mankind character mostly) were the guys who had a big impact on me in the later 90s going into the 2000s. Chris Jericho just barely missed out on making the top ten. He was definitely my favourite wrestler of 1999 and I can still remember buzzing over his upcoming debut when I found out he was WWF bound. If this had been a list of my favourite wrestlers of all time, Jericho would've made it easily.

I’m doing total package here. My list might be different it was “top 10 best talkers,” “top 10 best wrestlers,” “top 10 best gimmicks.” These are the top 10 of who I think best encapsulate WWE professional wrestling, and the 10 I could watch over and over without ever really getting tired of.
10. Hulk Hogan 9. Chris Jericho 8. Mick Foley 7. Ric Flair 6. Randy Savage 5. Bret Hart 4. The Undertaker 3. Shawn Michaels 2. Stone Cold Steve Austin 1. The Rock

If we’re only talking strictly their WWE work than this is how my top 10 would look.
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin 2. The Undertaker 3. Bret Hart 4. Shawn Michaels 5. Sycho Sid 6. Mr. Perfect 7. Hulk Hogan 8. Ultimate Warrior 9. Randy Savage 10. Kurt Angle
Honorable Mentions: Roddy Piper, Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Eddie Guerrero, The Rock
If if was more than just their WWE work I would have had Goldberg somewhere in my top 10 with Sting & DDP in the honorable mention list.

I'm just basing this off those wrestlers I enjoyed the most, at the time. I'm not putting these guys in order, in the same way I wouldn't put a top-ten songs list in order - it's just too damn hard!
HBK Razor Ramon The Rock Kurt Angle Daniel Bryan Chris Benoit Rob Van Dam Rey Mysterio Eddie Guerrero Tajiri
Honourable mentions: HHH, Taker, Dean Malenko, Bull Buchanan, Hurricane Helms
