I saw this graphic today, and it's not a one time thing. It's officially what the NWA tells the promotions they work with to call the belt. I know, on the belt it says "Worlds Heavyweight Champion," so that's why they do it. But that was a grammatical error made decades ago. For a while, it was corrected (on other versions of the belt). If Nick Aldis is the "Worlds Heavyweight Champion," I would like the NWA to officially announce each of the multiple "Worlds" he is the champion of. If he's the champion of just Planet Earth, then that's another story. So annoying. Champion of WORLDS.

Maybe he can be the World Heavyweight Champion of the World, and start teaming with SoCal Uncensored.

Those are three goofy looking mofos on that graphic.
Magnus looks like a mobster Burt from Sesame Street, and I’m not even sure how to describe the Bucks.

Between this and the match at All In, the NWA is basking in a lot of reflected glory. REFLECTED GLORY!!!

Can't they just use an apostrophe?

Can't they just use an apostrophe? They can. But they don't. And they can always change the belt to add one. But they don't.

The lack of apostrophe makes it especially bad but beyond that, I have always just found, "____ World's Champion," to sound completely stupid. Yeah, it's more old-school, people stopped doing it for a reason.

Maybe they consider each and every participating promotion as a separate world? That would make it grammatically correct. I'm doing a crappy Mr. Fantastic impersonation here, but work with me, folks!
