Rodney Mack's legacy for me was getting the Tiger Driver '91 and the Cobra Clutch with body scissors into Smackdown games.

Well...Rodney got to be in Here Comes The Pain. I was gonna say I don't think I've ever actually watched a match of his, I just remember him from HCTP.

When I played Smackdown Here Comes the Pain, and this was like I think a year or two after it had come out, when I saw Rodney Mack, I was like "I had forgotten about him."

Rodney was just Rodney. He might of done well in the early 2000s Hardcore Division but by 2003 he was just too generic. He might of had a better chance on Smackdown.

For a long time I thought Rodney Mack was a comedy character because when he did his "White Boy Challenge" I didn't actually realise that he was black. I thought it was some sort of Russo or Vince creation where they thought would be hilarious if they had a white guy who thought he was a black guy. So as that was my first impression of him he was pretty much done for me. Brock and Paul need to bring back the White Boy Challenge. lol

Stevie Ray interviewed them at a convention on his podcast. They seem to be doing well, even running a promotion in NOLA that works with Booker's promotion. Rodney has shrunk significantly, but Jazz looks like she can still go.

The best thing about Mack was that he had Theodore Long as a manager and that theme music. I also remember him dropping the line "TITLE SHOT, YEAH!" backstage one time, which me and my wrestling fan friends quoted for months afterwards because it was so obvious he wasn't, in fact, going to get a title shot.
Jazz was good.

I mostly remember when Jazz was paired up with Stevie Richards.
After she got injured, Stevie started wearing a shirt that said "I MISS YOU, SWEET THANG" with Jazz's angry, scowling face on it.

I thought the name Rodney Mack sucked, they could have given him something a little more interesting

Rodney Mack may win the award for "Your Theme has Tenure and you don't" The Patriot may have him beat for that.

Rodney Mack may win the award for "Your Theme has Tenure and you don't" The Patriot may have him beat for that. At least some people remember The Patriot... Also he's kind of like Doink where fake versions of him pop up a lot on low level Indies, including mine...

The main thing I remember about Rodney Mack occurred during one of those Taboo Tuesday events where you could vote for matches or stipulations on the WWE website. One of the votes was "Who will challenge for the IC title", with like 12 different midcarders to choose from, including Rodney Mack. When they announced the final results on the PPV, Rodney came in last, with ZERO percent of the vote.
