Better keep the sharp metallic objects away then as I don't think that I will be able get though without losing the will to live.

Ugh. The roster is so deep that you could easily have 13 pay per views at 4 week intervals for the year, at a MAX of three hours.
You don't need to get EVERYONE on every card, the roster is so stacked that you could easily keep dual branded pay per views and everyone gets on at least one every 8 weeks.
3 hours is more than enough. 3 hours, 6 to 7 matches, give them time to breathe and stop taking 10 god damn minutes between one match ending and another starting.
It's not that hard!!!

4 hour B-level PPVs. 5-7 hour A-level PPVs.
And yet somehow, 3/4 of the main roster won't see the light of day on any of them. Amazing.

It’s pretty impressive that the WWE has arguably the most talented roster ever assembled and I don’t really want to watch any of it. Well played.

As long as they're at least halfway decent I don't mind. Agreed. I mean we know they'll probably be somewhat decent to absolute trash, but at the very least this gives more people opportunities to get a payday.

3 hours is enough for a ppv.
Not everyone has to be on the pov card every month. It's ok to cycle fueds and do some ppv matches on TV instead

WHO HAS TIME FOR THIS!?! ...I mean do legit sport events last over 3 hours? Baseball games can, since the sport has no time limit. In recent years Major League Baseball has tweaked some of the rules in an attempt to speed up the game. I know it’s been mentioned before, including the thread I linked to a few posts ago, but it bears repeating: This is the same company that wants to make football faster because, according to its CEO, “nobody wants to sit through a sporting event for three-plus hours.”

Backlash was bad enough and that was 3 hours. I am not excited for this.

This is why I never watch stuff live, just a few hours after with the benefit of my trusty fast forward button.
Ain't nobody got time for that.

If they cut to like 6 PPV's a year I could live with this. Really, we just need the big 4, MITB and bring back King of the Ring and have one PPV every other month.

I wish they had the decency to front load the shows with utterly skippable pointless undercard matches featuring rookies and senior citizens like NJPW does.

I watched Backlash a few weeks ago and when it exceeded 3 hours, I was like, "Shouldn't it have ended already?" It had been years, and I MEAN YEARS since I had watched a PPV live.

For every 5 hour extra innings marathon, there are several games over in two and a half hours. Outside of College Football, there are few sports that consistently have games that are longer than a typical episode of Raw. I just don't understand why they need that much time. Up until a few years ago, the entire history of the company saw them putting on three hour PPVs with 8 (or more) matches and they could fit it in no problem. I certainly don't watch a show from 2000 and feel like they're rushing. I don't get it. Why does everything take so damn long these days?

Dear WWE. I’m aware the following sentence might cause you some confusion but trust me on this one..... Less can sometimes be more.

What’s sad is that I used to watch every second of Raw, Nitro, Smackdown, Thunder, ECW and every PPV...and I see the product they’re putting on now and hear 4 hour PPV and I’m out. How the hell did I get here? That's how i view it and why i tapped out. My go to is I remember requesting to leave work early for sseries 2005, happy to pay $54.95 and losing an additional $30 I would have made that night. Now? I don't watch more than 15 minutes of a ppv that comes with my $10 network sub before shutting it off. I think it's a mix of lack of interest/quality and me being in my early 30s now, I no longer see myself as immortal. Life's too short and goes by too fast to devote 6-10 hours a week to something I find mediocre.
