Backlash really hurt WWE in the ratings. Deservedly so, I haven't seen a worse PPV than that in quite some time. It was a staple of everything wrong with WWE right now and every single reason not to watch. They have no one but themselves to blame for continuing to push this bullshit down peoples throats and expecting good results. A shame when a good show happens and this is the result though, because then they think the good show doesn't draw when they're doing shit right and go back to the real reason why the ratings suck in the process...

I don't think it's any surprise that this time of year equals poor ratings. Season finales and intriguing playoff matchups are going to hurt the rating.
At least if Smackdown moves to Friday night after moving to Fox, they don't have to worry about much competition in the ratings!

When the writing is shite and you have a main event scene in which the challenger chokes every time he steps up to the plate and is given chance after chance, that is what happens. Are you sure we're not talking about RAW?
