For quite a few cult properties, merchandise that isn't just T-shirts or posters can be sparse to say the least so often, Funko Pops are the best you're going to get.

Just curious if you went in the store? I took my kids their and I gotta say it was pretty cool in there. You can sit in the batmobile! But there's no statue of Everett's biggest treasure Kenny loggins. So they messed up there. They should make a Kenny Loggins pop!! ......... I'd buy it

Got the Nolan Batman trilogy figures a few years back, never collected beyond that. They’re just a neat decoration to have if you’re into collecting stuff.

Come on, as wrestling fans we shouldn't be throwing stones at fanbases we don't personally understand. Why do you like watching oiled up sweaty men in their underwear rolling around and pretending to fight in a boxing ring for 5+ hours a week? Empathy. It goes a long way. Stop spreading lies. From a structural standpoint, boxing rings are a completely different beast and are designed completely different, only sharing the standards of the concept. Everything else is pretty spot on, though.

There are a few I want, Ahh! Real Monster, Rocko's Modern Life, and a few wrestling ones, but when I look around and see them going for $60, $70, $80 and up I admit to not getting it. Not trying to pass judgment or anything as I've spent plenty on stuff that others would have the same lack of understanding on, just seeing the prices stun me at times.

It’s an affordable fun way to celebrate your fandom. I don’t have a ton, but a few. Mostly thanks to the Marvel, Star Wars and Disney collector boxes they did. I now have T-shirts, a variety of toys and a sizable collection of the things. And regret nothing. I can add to or choose not to add to, depending on what’s out there, what I like and what I choose to commemorate my fandom of.
Honestly, it just makes me happy. And in this day and age, I don’t think there is anything wrong with that at all.

Me personally, the most I have spent is €30 but that was a vehicle and Funko combo (Dino and the Flintstone car) and anything more than that I wait until the discounts come in because it does drop significantly after a while. I barely spend that much on video games at this point unless I’m really excited about it.

My kids & i collect them. Not expecting them to be worth anything ever but it's something fun to do with the kids. I collect the Marvel POPS & the ones from old movies & shows. My favorites are the MST3k Crow & Servo & my Fraggle Rock set. My kids tend to look for FNAF, Hello Neighbor, Bendy, & newer franchises. It's a fun thing that the kids & i do together. Most weekends we'll go, what they call it, "Funko Hunting" where we hit up the local comic shop & the mall looking for new POPS to add to our collection. I love it & it's fun.

Not trying to pass judgment or anything as I've spent plenty on stuff that others would have the same lack of understanding on, just seeing the prices stun me at times. The prices I’ve seen some go for are pretty shocking at times. That’s supply and demand for you. I’ll never knock the hustle. If these items can command that much money then so be it. I understand the collectibility of them. I get the various fandoms it reaches. I’m just not a fan of how similar and cheap looking most of them look. To be fair I’ve seen a few that look unique too. I just know they’re not for me. If people love them that’s great. I’ve always respected collecting stuff. I’ve known people with book collections, figure collections, coin collections, stamp collections, comic collections, etc. It’s fun hearing about their passion for it. It’s fun for me when they share their stories about unique or rare items they feel fortunate to own. Sometimes I get to see those collectibles that I’ll probably never see in person again. It’s usually not even about the money to them. The value to them is their enjoyment in hunting down and acquiring the items.
