Long term, this is going to be so bad for the film industry.

Yeah. While Disney owning all this is a bit uncomfortable, if the choice was between them and Comcast, Disney is the far lesser of the two evils. At least Disney doesn't own the pipes too. Give them time....

It looks like Bart is pulling Captain Marvel's hair, So Bart under DisneyFox is going to be the face of the show again? (That seriously might be a good idea, to get/affirm younger viewers watching the show)

Not that I’m justifying it or trying to make a positive at all, but the sad state of affairs with all this was that either Disney were going to get it or Comcast, the people who own NBC Universal with THAT massive back catalogue and the only reason it didn’t happen was that FOX preferred to sell it to someone they worked with before. Yeah. While Disney owning all this is a bit uncomfortable, if the choice was between them and Comcast, Disney is the far lesser of the two evils. As an aside, "Disney is the lesser of the two evils" is a helluva indictment, to say nothing of " far lesser".

Long term, this is going to be so bad for the film industry. With a rise in streaming services the impact won’t be as bad as people think.

Long term, this is going to be so bad for the film industry. This isn't the first time this has happened. Turner/Warner bros bought MGM in 1986, kept its entire library and let MGM go off on its own again without said library.
