I... don’t get this. I mean, I really can’t escape the feeling the writers have something to say, but are not articulating it well at all. The tone of this thing is so uneven compared to LiS and BTS. To say nothing of now knowing it’s going to take bloody forever to get to the point. Just... yeah, disappointed. It's so weird where like, this is the main studio that did LiS1 yet its writing and presentation and everything feels like what I feared BTS would be because it was a new studio. It feels like they didn't understand anything about the first two seasons and what made them work and chased this weird Telltale TWD-esque style road trip that doesn't have like...anything I liked from the first one.

Hm, I enjoy season 2.
It’s probably because I feel more immersed with the character of Sean than I could with the MC of the first game. It’s like The Walking Dead games. I enjoyed playing as Lee and especially Javier more than I did Clementine because I felt I could relate to them more than I could a child/teenage girl.

Yeah, I’ve only played episode 1 of the first, but the coming of age story with two brothers on the run just appeals to me a lot more than time traveling hipster lesbians.

Honestly I've been waiting to actually buy it when the whole thing comes out, but just going off my knowledge of 2, trailers, and Captain Spirit... 2 just feels like it has vastly less personality than the first one. Less interesting powers, doesn't have as charming a setting as Arcadia Bay, and say what you will about all of the dumb slang in the first game, it gives it a lot of personality and makes it super quotable.

Oh, my boys..... {Spoiler}So, yeah... Sean's dead.
I expected this to happen, but I expected it at the end of episode 4, not now. It's been close to an hour since I actually finished and I'm still shocked, upset, and excited for this development. Overall, I thought this episode was a huuuuuuuuuge improvement over Episode 2. I think it may be the best of the three thus far.

I'm not so sure. {Spoiler}Everyone in that building looked pretty dead to me. On top of the fact Daniel literally took the money and ran, and if Sean was still alive, I really don't think Daniel would have left him like that. We'll find out when more information is released, I guess.

I think they’re leaving it intentionally vague. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} There are ways to keep Cassidy from getting hurt and actually get Finn executed by not using Daniel’s powers at the end. If they’re actually dead I think they’d have done it in a much less ambiguous cliffhanger way.
Just my opinion.

The game didn’t download for me during the day, so I have to wait until tomorrow. The trailer gave me good vibes, so I’m cautiously optimistic.
Almost anything would be an improvement over episode 2, aka sulky boys hang out at grandma’s house.

If anyone knows what the song that plays at the end of the episode 3 is, I would greatly appreciate it, because holy crap, that made that entire last bit even more powerful than it would have been without it.

My ending. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} I’m curious how I got it. The majority of people either told Daniel to use his powers and Finn survived or told him not to and Finn died. I got an ending where I told Daniel not to use his powers and Finn lived anyway. Only 5% of people got that outcome.

Man... I just don’t care about these characters even a little.
The bad wolf narration. The brothers arguing. I just don’t care.
I miss Max and Chloe.

Finally finished. {Spoiler} Sean lost an eye. I don’t think anyone is actually dead. Finn sucks, and I was perfectly good having Merrill execute him but Daniel lashed out. I think the first time I personally sat up and liked a character at all was when Cass stepped up to Finn and called him out for trying to use Daniel. Overall ... I’m going to finish this as the episodes come out, but I’m just not feeling it. This episode was better than 2, but it just doesn’t have any of the magic that made LiS1 so great.

Been playing the original Life Is Strange during the wait for the next episode of Life Is Strange 2. Two episodes in and I’m less than impressed, considering the original’s reputation. Episode 1 in particular was baaaaaaaaaaad and left me hating literally everybody. Episode 2 was so much better... until the ending. The only character I came to really like was Kate. And keep in mind I played this with a walkthrough. And despite doing everything the walkthrough said, Kate still jumped off the roof because I didn’t answer her phone call. I have the next two days off, so I’m going to see how much further I can get. I also have two theories for Life Is Strange 2: {Spoiler}
Theory 1: Sean is dead. Jacob, who had a downright religious experience after finding out about Daniel’s powers takes Daniel to his cult Religious Commune in Haven Point, Nevada (Nevada being heavily implied to be the location of the post-credits scene) There is a multi year time jump.
Theory 2: Sean is alive, but in police captivity in a medical facility. Focus is on Daniel, but at the the end of the episode, the bandage that had been covering Sean’s eye that had the glass shard in it is removed, and it is discovered that Sean does have a power. He has a healing power, as his eye is completely fixed and back to normal.

^^^Yo Duke Cameron Spoiler that shit for the peeps who haven’t played yet my dude! Eh, I rather just delete it. I don’t see the need to spoiler tag a game that’s 4 years old. Not to mention someone else let out a pretty big scene in the post right above me.

If someone is going through what she’s going through then answering the phone and letting her know you’re there for her is the obvious thing to do.

If someone is going through what she’s going through then answering the phone and letting her know you’re there for her is the obvious thing to do. It was the IGN one. At first, I answered, then Chloe pissed after a fight with her mother, so I rewound. Considering how the second episode of Life Is Strange 2 ended for me, I shouldn’t be surprised I’m a total monster. One thing I will say is I like how the developers have really played with the powers aspect from game to game. 1’s power is passive and the player has control over it, whereas 2’s is active and the player can only instruct and direct how and when it is used. And assuming Daniel actually listens. He didn’t at a crucial point in my brother’s play through of episode 2. Really makes me wonder how this can be handled in any future installments going forward.
