Losing MGS4 as an exclusive would be a major blow to PS3. They've already lost Virtua Fighter 5 and now this. With the crappy BC issues & loss of exclusive titles...things don't look so good for the PS3. I'm just glad I didn't shell out $600.00 for this and stuck with my 360. Not to mention they already lost exclusivity on Assassan's Creed, if we ever see a Jade Empire 2 or a KOTOR 3, 360 is the likely home for that, I really dont see any need for a PS3. If I feel the need to watch HD-DVD, well, there's a $200 adapter for the 360 that'll do just that, which is EXACTLY what PS3 should've done instead of forcing Blu-Ray on the consumer! idiots. They never had it in the first place. Ubisoft only said it was going to be on the PS3, not that it was PS3 only. In fact, it was said that the backstage demo of it was ran on the 360 at e3.

What I am saying is that with some people, sony can do no right, yet MS and Nintendo can seem to do no wrong. Oh they do plenty wrong. The original X-Box's software library sucked compared to PS2's, there were no good "quirky" niche games or good RPGs like PS2, and the GameCube was a colossal failure, IMO. But Sony's the worst of the three to me.

This is not me being a stupid fanboy, it's just that Sony has always treated me right and MS has always been about graphics (not that important to me) & bland games that play to average American taste (Shooters & Sports). Sounds like Sony this gen. They are using graphics as a selling point, remember? Also, their best games right now? Shooters and sports.

They OWN Rare, thus making any Rare games first party, and BioWare is second party, but just as Retro's Metroid Prime games(which are second party) are considered first party, any game even published by Microsoft is first party.

What I am saying is that with some people, sony can do no right, yet MS and Nintendo can seem to do no wrong. I did qualify my statements by mentioning that I currently own, and play religiously, a PS2. I had a PS1. They're great systems. But Sony does NOT have a history of being kind to the consumer. At most every turn, they've either pissed on the consumers, or ignored them outright with rushed (resulting in imperfect product) product, short supply, or colossally stupid decisions. Not that the other two companies aren't riddled with bad decisions (Nintendo cancelling the SNES CD-ROM, foregoing CDs for the N64, the GameCube in general; Microsoft ... well, their very existence is Sith-like), but only Sony's mistakes seem to reek of malevolence. Nintendo's just been glaringly incompetant and short-sighted, while Microsoft has a pattern of tech-based mistakes (Windows ME?). Sony just seems to hate it's customer base. Jed Shaffer ~And we're not even bringing in all those brilliant companies who aren't in the hardware business anymore due to bad decisions. A graveyard Sony is inching towards if they don't cut the shit out.

Technical glitches galore, backwards compatibility that isn't 100% after all, questionable launch titles (better then PS2, but still), and an insane price tag that puts out all but the most hardcore of gamers. Oh, and, thanks to hardware issues, a shortage of systems available for purchase so large, it inspires riots, muggings, price gouging and a death or two. Jed Shaffer ~And for that Sony, we love you. Like we love smallpox. To ellborate on the tech issues, the demo unit at Best Buy overheats/freezes/crashes at least 3 times a day. I always leave it froze like that for all the customers to see so they can see that Sony quality hard at work. Yeah, I have yet to see a PS3 unit that was running.

our kiosk goes down so hard, but it's not because it's a piece of shit system. it goes down because the actual unit you see isn't a f***ing ps3. if you open it up, the actual ps3 is housed in the most horribly ventilated chamber i have ever seen. ice cubes would overheat in this f***ing thing.
