I love Coach Casey, he got a rough deal in Toronto.
I love Blake Griffin and how he saved his career.
I love Andre Drummond and his style of play.
But that type of violent and contact of basketball with a no nonsense twin towers front court, is obsolete.
Twenty years ago they could’ve been a dynasty, but post Nash they’re a mediocre team.

Houston’s pretty much self-destructing... and they’re only down 5.

They should be up a lot more with Harden getting no FGs in the first half

I love Blake Griffin and how he saved his career. Saved his career? Are you talking about how he came back from the injury his first year? Or how he quickly realized the nonstop dunking may get him in highlights, but he's got to be a more complete player? Because his career hasn't been in jeopardy for a long ass time. He's been an excellent player since he came into the league. He just hadn't been the huge star as he was at first, because he stopped trying to make the highlight reel all the time. He developed his jumper, and became more of a complete player, that can be explosive, but that's not his main weapon anymore.

He stopped being a star for years and you know it, once the injuries became more common he couldn’t be trusted as an option anymore, in Detroit he’s playing like he should’ve been doing in LA and maybe the Clippers would’ve made it past the second round.

He's in an easier conference and dude still ain't making it out of the first round. He's tthe same mid-tier star hexs always been. Just shoots more threes (because who doesn't) and is a better passer.

He's so skilled offensively but until the refs stop bailing him out like they did last night, this shit will never change. I thought LeBron was the biggest drama king on the court but Harden has took that crown because my mans gets a tough on his beard and he act like he got shot
I said it once and i'll say it again, the NBA this generation over the last 10 years (essentially my generation) has lost the fundamentals and while we are seeing someone insane stats, I don't feel the full impact when you got Harden dribbling 15 out of 24 seconds and taking 12 3's a game while Westbrook acts like he is a PF and plays no defense and crashes rebounds
Harden is def one of the best dominant and offensive players in this generation but shit he does takes me out the game

It took Blake to get out of L.A. to realize he needed to make his game better well rounded
I never thought he would become this good a shooter so fair play to him but he's in a weird space of being less a star despite being a better player.

Because since high school he was only trained to dunk and post up, and he was very good at it, he was an all star in his rookie season.
